To me this division is really har to rank. Personally I'd have Ward at the top and then it's very close between Kessler, Bute, Froch and Dirrell. I certainly think that the winner of the Super 6 should be considered number 1, but in some ways it's "safe" to pick Bute as the top dog because he's very unlikely to lose until the Super 6 is finished. I often think that's why so many were rating Dawson so highly (I was certainly not), because it didn't appear that anyone had a chance of beating him, so it was "safe" to rank him high on the P4P lists.
Exactly, Miranda should be number 1: he already faced Abraham 2X, Bute, Ward, Pavlik man this guy must be number 1 on the oposition he already faced.
And lost. That's a photo of the past. Howcome 90% of the posters here thought Dawson would win easily against Pascal? Because they looked at the resumes. You have to look at many points: the boxer's intelligence, his entourage, his dedication, the way he progresses or not, the way he wins his fights, etc. Resume is only one aspect, even it's an important one.
I didn't mention or allude to Green. I don't remember Kessler clearly winning any rounds, but I do remember Ward rendering him so ineffective throughout, he might as well have been unconscious. He won a very lopsided decision over Kessler-who was the top name of the division. Bute has absolutely nothing on that.
