Bute's promoter signed a 3 fights deal with Pascal.

Pascal will fight Don George on the same card as Bute on december 6.

I expect to see Bute-Pascal 2 next fall.

Hopefully Bute can improve with Roach and we get a better fight second time around.

Interbox made a great deal on this one. If somehow Bute loses his next fight and show signs that he cannot go back to the top, Interbox will still have a big draw at 175lbs to keep their business alive.

Bute is looking to make some money while waiting for Stevenson.

    I would watch that.
If you take a look at the final rounds there's a good indication that Bute can beat Pascal if he just had his confidence that Froch took from him. Of course there's the matter of Pascal fading in later rounds, but it looked like that wasn't the whole story.

The first one was boring so I'm not watching the rematch.

Right. And Bute with all this great wins is the real deal.......

Anyway, a rematch of Pascal/Bute would be acceptable, although not ideal.

Well that won't sell. Everybody knows Bute is shot. The first fight was not entertaining at all. Why go for a second one. Pascal needs to get in there with Kovalev or Stevenson, not Bute.

They'll probably have Bute win the second one and set up the rubber match. Old-school style.

    Why? Pascal clearly separated himself.

Yep. Pacal lasts eight rounds. (four times longer than Bute)

So it still ends up being a shorter night's work than Hopkins was. :yep

Pascal would still be the most explosive fighter Kovalev have fought. Few question mark are on Kovalev's since he went against Boone and in his last fight prior to Hopkins.

I wouldn't bet my house on a Pascal's win, but he might have a chance.
