If Bute was fighting Dirrell, Andre would've gone on your list above as "Almost Brain Dead Marathon Runner"

 

This is a terrible move for Pavlik. Pavlik is now fighting at SMW and Americans dont tend to do well at SMW. Pavlik will be exposed in European SMW class if he meets Bute.
Pavlik could have a good career if he fights American SMWs, but in Europe its much tougher.

I have a couple of years "reading around".. and you become more and more delusional with every day that passes.. Dirrell has no right to a title shot at this moment, he was never more than a contender( a close fight with Froch yet a defeat, a DQ win with Abraham which was coming back strong in the fight ..).
More than a year is gone from his last fight and I find him an unknown value at top 5 level, not until his next fight at least.. he has important things to do in order to fight Kessler, Bute, Froch or Ward.. namely.. confirm his contender status.
Pavlik is a more accomplished, active fighter,the logic choice, knowing that no understanding has come to an end with Kessler..
