Good post Boo , i just hope that the good fight left in Pavlik won't be agains't Bute though. It's always hard to see 2 of your favorite fighters taking on each others if you had one of the 2 beat up really bad the other it's even worst. I have seen this when Pascal fought diaconu:-(

I don't think Pavlik will win a round so i don't see it being like Kessler v Calzaghe

I know what you mean. But one of the most accurate thing i learned on these board is that the last fight determine the opinion of most. So Pavlik lost to a southpaw, then went on rehab and then won a decision vs a so so guy. So you receive this kind of reaction. Anybody trying to say that Pavlik isnt a threat is delusional. Since I'm a Bute fan, i wish him to win this and I will cheer him to do so. But I still like Pavlik and I dont wish him bad or anything.

About boxing discussion, Bute is always well prepared and will think on something to put Pavlik out of his confort zone. I think for Pavlik to win, it will be to do the same. I dont think Bute is very good inside and I dont think he is good trying to attack. I think he is very good at counter and putting traps. You know a lot more what Pavlik can do, but I dont see him beating Bute with attack that Bute can counter with his very good movement and timing.

I don't like this fight at all. Pavlik needs to go in against guys who stand in place, not those with big footwork advantages.

For me, the better, winnable fight for Kelly is versus Abraham. That one is right in his wheelhouse, and he could pocket huge bank were he willing to fight in Germany.

Pavlik/Abraham is like milk with a 2008 expiration date. It stinks. Throw it out. Right now that would be one of the most meaningless fights any two top 15 or so SMW could engage in. Alfonso Lopez would beat 7 shades of **** out of the current version of Abraham. How much credit would Pavlik get for beating up a guy who has been thoroughly exposed as a hype job? I don't use the term "hype job" often, but if the shoe fits . . . . . .
