The only witty response was the latter part of that poorly formulated response. Yes, Froch is an A-level fighter of his weight class, he's beaten the likes of Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell (arguably) and arguably even beat Mikkel Kessler. He's on top of his division either way you put it, he's proven he can hang with the very best of the division and thus he's clearly an elite of the division. He didn't coNfortably beat Miranda in their first outing, HE COMFORTABLY BEAT HIM ON THE SCORECARDS, AND IT WAS UNANIMOUS ALL ACROSS THE BOARD. Besides, that was the pre-Pavlik demolition job, just look what turn Miranda has taken since his loss to Pavlik, he's nothing more than a boxing bag these days, and the version who fought Bute would be crushed, much like Arthur crushed him in the rematch. Thus he'd EASILY PLOW THROUGH ALL OF BUTES OPPONENTS. I dont care if everyone thinks I am moronic, I know I base my opinions on facts, rather than pure hype and bollocks, like yourself. And I dont care about your respect on a boxing forum, who gives a flying **** about that? :rofl I never even acknowledged you before this thread, nevermind respected you... and like I said, I dont give a flying **** if people on here respect me or think I am a joke, I know who I am, and unlike you I demand my respect in real life and not on some boxing forum.
Yeah it was on rds.ca. Another good news that will put haters to sleep. He will make the most important fight of his career in NY, not in Mtl.
Im all for that, its about time he stepped up, and by the looks of it he will try to make that step. Win/lose/draw he deserves respect for that, let this be a rude awakening for people already claiming his greatness. :smoke
1- Froch is a B level fighter at best. He brings heart, stamina, workrate and somewhat power but is a limited talent. Your opposition isn't what makes you a C - B - or A level fighter, it's the tools you bring into the ring !!!:deal 2- You bring no solid facts but distortioned truths or half facts to back up your constant hate !! 3- This forum has no bearing on my self esteem either but at least I don't try to voluntarily or better yet constantly look like a dick in the process. 4- You sure did acknowledge me on a few occasions before in regards to Bute. Everytime I brought you the right info...you started to curl up like a little kitten trying to act all diplomatic all of a sudden... :deal
There are a fair number of boxers in the 168lbs division who would pass by all of Butes opponents with flying colors. Froch fought Pascal (A level), Taylor (at that weight unproven, overall A-level on the slide, so realistically B-level), Kessler (A level), Dirrell (A level) and he arguably beat ALL OF THEM. If Froch is B+, then what the hell is Bute?!
Everyone agree that Bute needed to step up. He is now. But Pre-S6 Bute had after Kessler and maybe (yes maybe) Froch the best resume. Since then most of the S6 gets to fight tough opposition and Bute had to wait. Now it will be paying off and he will either be put back in his place as a pretty good fighter who could not step up, or a great Champion. Only time will tell.
You are a reasonable poster, I have nothing to disagree about with you, as you're able to dissect true hard facts. We can all agree this is great news for all boxing fans, its time to make or break for Bute, on a level he's not ever tested.
Lets get real (pre-Super 6) Pascal ---- worst resume at 168 vs Bute Taylor ---- worst resume at 168 vs Bute Kessler ---- Lost his only big fight vs Calzaghe Dirrell ---- was green, a prospect, worst resume at 168 vs Bute Froch ---- beat an uproven Taylor and a at the time not so great Pascal Ward ---- was green, a prospect, worst resume at 168 vs Bute Abraham ---- worst resume at 168 vs Bute But your right Bute didnt prove he was A level himself. It just show that the 168 division is really open for a champion and nobody could have claim it before the end of the Super 6.
There's a thing called natural talent. Bute has more ! Now Froch has better resume, but he was given that chance, not Bute. Prior to the S6 tournament that Bute wasn't invited in, Bute had a better resume at 168lbs, than all of them except Kessler. :deal No denying that when you're not just a hater !!! Just so people get the two sides of the coin from what you wrote: 1- Pascal was very green when he fought Froch and was just coming off a very unimpressive win against Omar Pittman. He was laughed at here and called a bum. :deal 2- Dirrell was always an A level talent but he was the perfect example of being green with very little professional experience under his belt + most here recognize that he beat Froch, when it's all said and done. :deal
I've said the same thing to him many times before and he was always agreeing in the end, but like a broken record, he keeps coming back on different day to say the same bull**** over and over again !!
I totally agree MJK but I've had discussions on many occasions now with this guy and he just keeps coming back spewing his bull**** even after respectfully being confronted with the right facts. Tonight I guess I had no more patience with him... From now on, I'll just ignore his hate posts.
Thanks, I always try to stay polite and keep the discussion civilize. You have the right of your opinion. But right now we have a great news for any boxer fans. I wish for Bute to beat everyone, but I can understand a Ward's or Froch's fan to wish for the same for his boxer.
I've for the most part stood by my comments, and will do that untill Bute proves me wrong in the ring, against another top level fighter. The whole foundation of my criticism against Bute is solely based on his lack of good opposition, end of. If you can't handle it, then stay out of it.. no need to get all personal. :smoke
