Bute is going to shine in this one. At a venue and in a fight that his detractors claimed would never happen.

Yeah, when they first came to an agreement and it was In Canada they said if Bute wins he's gonna forget he has a passport and not travel to England for the second fight.

I give both guys credit for taking this fight. Can't wait to see it.

I wrote an article about this today. http://bit.ly/zzylnD

Very good article. Only minus for me is that you make it sound like Froch campaigned for this fight to happen, rather than Bute. ;)

Thanks. Well, I was trying to give Froch credit for jumping straight into this one rather than taking a well-deserved soft touch. A lot of people said Bute wouldn't leave Canada - the truth is, neither guy had to take this big a risk and that's why I love the fight.

Froch doesn't have much time left to make a spla$h. He would have gone the Anthony Dirrell route but it wasn't open to him. He had to say YES to Bute.

He had options... ohhh he had options believe me. I was scared because of those options and the harsh road he had until now he will choose an easier fight.

    Froch had Magee in England.
Froch had little Dirrell in England.
Both of those fights were giving Froch a certainty of being ranked #1 WBA or #1 WBC meaning he would have become Mandatory for Ward later. Or he could remach Kessler after.
The big splash would have come after this fights.
