Yep Joppy wasnt good enough to see if bute has improved something since his last fight. But at the same time, I dont have any problems with interbox taking their time with bute. He is still really young and far from calzaghe and kessler. I dont know if I want to see him with the likes of Andrade, inkins, froch or mundine. :blood I think its better to play it safe until he has to meet his mandatory challenger. He has to improve his defence first. Sometimes he backs up in a straight line and get caught and he keeps his hand way to low. :-( Id like to see faster upper body movement to avoid puches too. :bbb
Terrible performance?!?! He won every rounds until he finaly stopped him in round 10. What else could he have done?
Well Trinidad and Bute dont really have the same style.Trinidad was a killer in the ring always looking to KO his opponents.Bute is a boxer-puncher,who take his time and wear down his opponents. Its his style. And Trinidad was the only one to ever stopped Joppy.Bute his only the second one.Something even Bernard Hopkins and Jermaine Taylor couldnt
And another thing, from what I remember, is that Jop had just had his back injury in the car accident.
well obviously. beating Joppy certainly doesnt put him on their level. That being said, I was pretty happy with Butes performance tonight. Joppy was clearly overmatched from the beginning, so for me, the only thing I didnt like form Bute was that at times he waited too long to unleash.
