Where in that Bute quote did he specfically talk smack about Froch? It's a general statement that describes the situation he's stuck in, but it does not necessarily include Froch.

As a matter of fact, I'd be shocked if Froch refused a fight with Bute.

    I'm guessing it's more aimed at Kessler/Dirrell.

He doesn't but the OP mentioned Froch in the title, so I'm assuming Froch was mentioned in the interview. Why would the OP mention Froch in the title otherwise?

    Shock value. Speculation. Idiocy.

    Many possible reasons.

There'll probably be a transcript of the interview somewhere so we'll find out one way or another.

Bute is a Fraud... Wont fight outside his teritory, and offering **** fights in Canada... Bute havent faced any good boxers yet and he will proberly never meet them in theír prime. I will now forget "Bute" and concentrate on the real fighters out there.

    Huh.. Who is Bute?

Sure about Froch??? Remember he threatened to drop out of Super Six if he had to fight Abraham in Germany? Bute is stiffer competition - why would anyone think that Froch would want to fight Bute on Bute's terms? And neither should Carl do that!

    Anyway....

I'm sure Kessler would fight Bute anywhere...

    Unfortunately!

Because guys like Ward and Bute are the root of all evil in boxing! Guys who refuse to take any chances. This is what Ottke was ridiculed for... the new Ottke's are Bute and Ward.... shameful.

I am happy that Sauerland said... "sure, but in Copenhagen.. you have had your share of home fights Mr Bute... now it is more than due time you try traveling for big fights and see how getting out of your comfort zone suits you."

The bottom line is: Bute needs to travel for once!!! if he doesn't offer to do this, then **** him! Stay in Canada your whole carreer beating mexican taxidrivers.

The live gate at the Bell Center probably makes for bigger purses. I think they should just fight on neutral ground. Fight in the States in Atlantic City or something.

Froch & Bute were at the begining of the negociation when the Super 6 ideea came out. The fight was supposed to take place in Nothingham. Each fighter took another path.

I think these haters need to know some facts.......

In the same interview , Bute was mentioning Froch having a big mouth that needs to be shut. I also know Bute vs Froch was very close of happening in Nottingham before Carl got the offer from the super six. Now his promoter Mick *Hennessy is negotiating a deal to attract Canadian-based Romanian IBF king Bute, 29, to Nottingham, saying: “It’s almost a done deal and it looks like being at the *Nottingham Arena in one of the first two weeks of September.
