Yeah I don't get the Kessler hate, he had a long layoff from a career-threatening injury. He has a test fight against C-level opposition, then goes straight into a world-title fight (albeit against the lesser titlist), he'll prob either have a unification with Bute or have a S6 runner-up fight after.

That's pretty much all you cam ask of a guy who thought he might never fight again, no point him going in to bigger fights if he hasn't shaken off the ring rust!

 

So after Ward and Froch face off in a couple of months, they will retire because everyone are in "nobody status" exept those two.

i agree he need to face the top contenders to prove what many and i believe (Bute is a great fighter) instead of speculation on what could or will be done lets compare what has bin done so far, the boxer he has faced so far that have had match ups whit the top ranked fighter, these are the fights we should use to judge a boxer. the facts are he has put down fighter that others have not bin able to or look more convincing in his victorys, now by this im not saying he is better, anything can happin in boxing and thats what is great about it, so much happins in the boxers head that could offset any amount of training. i believe he can match up with big contenders and time will tell, till then lets refraine from bashing on boxers gratuasly and give the respect these guys diserve for getting in to that ring.:boxx

wright (the ref in that fight) is strick when it comes to having the boxer in opposing corner and will stop the count until boxer obeis his command, he did not do it because it was lucian, he has done it other times before and against home favorits to, so your claime is false if u think it was favoratism its just the way that ref rolls:nono

The ref was American in Bute's last four fights. Check your facts, if not, people could think you're stupid. You should also learn to count up to 8.
