I think right now, there's a lot of critic against Bute and against Bute's fans in general and I think that those critics are a little hypocrite and they should think about what they say and be honest.

The problem I see since a couple of weeks is now those who critic Bute seems to not want him to face the best. What I'm reading here is : "Bute will not fight Kessler except if he is not healthy" and "Bute doesnt have the right to face the winner of the S6". That's weird and everyone should want Bute to fight the best.

I do want Bute to fight the best and some critic are genuine even if the timing wasnt very good for him. For exemple, his team were talking to Froch people before the S6, but Bute wanted first to clear the Andrade mess. So now we could say that Bute didnt fight Froch when he had the opportunity, but at the same time everyone wanted the Andrade rematch.

Another stuff we read a lot in here is: "the 0 is killing boxing" and "Bute was KTFO by Andrade". So, if you think Bute won the first Anadrade fight, it was a mess, but he won, so no problem. If he indeed loose in your mind, what's the problem? He made a mistake (either by fighting not healthy as some claim, or because he had not a good stamina as others claim), he correct it in the rematch. That's it.

So, what I think is, deep down people know that Bute is a very good boxer with good skills and he might upset some people by beating their favorite fighter. I think he is exciting to watch and again I think some people dont like that fact. What I mean is, some people like to watch any kind of movies, it's not because your a fan of oscar winning movies that you dont ever watch some blockbuster without too much to think about. So even if Bute might one day win the oscar of the best actor, right now he is an action movie actor, exciting to watch. And people, if you dont like action movies, just dont buy them. And if he eventually step up and go to the next level, everyone will be happy.

Let's be honest and if you want to critic, I dont see a problem with that, but at the same time, give what is due to him, and more important, dont spread rumors or falsehood. In other word, let's put things in perspective and dont overdo it.

Bute has the skills to be great, I think he is a good fighter but he is still suspect due to his resume lacking quality and the fact that there are quality opponents avalible. As of now he is still a protected fighter. Hopefully once the super six is over he will fight the people on top like Ward, Froch, Kessler, ect...I think he will but at this point we just have to wait and see, and most boxing fans aren't cool with that...

Bute will be KO'd when he steps up...he can not deal with getting hit and is easy to hit, shots from Macgee (sp?) were clearly bothering him..

Obviously you don't know what you're talking about. For Bute it could be easier to KO Kessler in the first four rounds than it was against a guy like Magee; he rallies his best against the best because he's that kind of fighter.

I've watched him about 5-6 times, and I don't believe his chin is good at all...once he steps up in comp you will see it too...I think he has excellent physical tools, but he doesn't have the heart of a fighter. Once he gets in there with someone more than capable he will wilt under pressure.

There's a grain of truth in that - but Magee was never exactly a bum even if he was never a world beater.

What makes you think he has a bad chin? He faced some pretty good punchers and if he's so easy to hit, as you say, that means his chin have been tested, right?

You write a bunch of facts without proving them. Like he has no heart. I f he had no heart, he would not have got up against Andrade.

I'd like you to prove your points.

I said when he steps up in competition he will be exposed. Yes it's all speculation at this point, I'm just stating my opinion of the guy. He is unproven on a world-class level. I don't believe u can put much stock in his recent victories because he is not fighting world class competition.

If it's speculation, it's ok with me. We'll see soon what he's worth.

he obviously has the tools and the ability to be great

he just needs the right guy to bring it out

You can bet that if Kessler goes for the easier Stieglitz, people will put the blame on Bute. :tired

I wouldnt blame him for going and beating up Stieglitz first. I can say as Of right now KEssler and Pavlik should not be trying to fight BUTE in 1 or 2 fights After long lay offs. Bute is a great fighter (Credit once again) but as others said, he hasn't been extremely tested yet and there are 4 big punchers he hasn't stepped in with yet.
