Other than bad utube video, I haven't seen much of Zuniga. How is his speed? He'll need more than Adrade to make it more competitive vs hope for 'the one'. I still get a chuckle out of Bute squaring up and throwing combos at Adrade's gloves to get the home crowd to go wild.
I'm actually picking Bute to win a comfortable UD. This is just a case of hoping for one thing while thinking the other thing will happen.
Zuniga is nowhere near as fast as Bute,I'd tend to say Bute is arguably the most fastest SMW outhere,so it's hard to compare. In terms of speed Bute will make him look like a fool actually.
Zunga's hand and foot speed is mediocre. His jab is less than stellar, and his defense is rather porous. He shines in an inside fight and a war of atrition. He's in love with his own uppercut, and he only needs about 8" on a left hook to put a guy on his ass. He has an iron chin, but tends to cut around the eyes due to a heavy brow ridge.
Bute is a big super middleweight and Zuniga is a middleweight having a go at the higher weight. I was disappointed when I heard Larouche say they had looked for an (even) easier opponent for Bute, like Brinkley. I know Brinkley is American, but that's about all he is. Zuniga will be very well prepared and motivated, true, but Bute had better dominate him in impressive fashion and get him out of there if he is to come out of this smelling of roses, in my view.
Why the hell would they want Jesse "Bag-O-Donuts" Brinkley. Talk about middleweights fighting at higher weights! That freaking guy is a light middle who fights at SMW and LHW because he trains at the local Crispy Creme shop!
It was an option in talks cuz he is american and a tv channel might have the fight.Showtime did press Zuniga in aswell.
Well, I'll tell ya this; If Zuniga comes out and gives us his very best, and Bute beats him leaving no questions hanging over the fight, this boxing fan will be VERY impressed.
Hmmm... :think I think I'll go with Hayeturds. They stink and just keep coming. Gaymakers is too dirivitive of Gayweather.
And gradually they're doing that job. But the next match against Andrade, if he wins this one easily, could be the way to big fights at 168...
