Didnt Bute fans use Mads Larsen as the reason why Andrade couldnt get a shot at a rematch?

Why should Calzaghe give Kessler a rematch? He won fair and square in a non controversial fight!

you mean the guy who was knocked out by Andrade who was cheated out of the title by a hometown ref. Butte is a ****ing fraud.

If I'm not mistaken, Larsen did not want nothing to do with Bute, he only want's to cash in against MK.

Zuniga's last fight at 160 was Zertuche in September of 2006.

Have to disagree with you there. Maybe not. Let me think. OK. Froch is not a champion. He is a place holder.

I can't help you if you think Bute is weaker than Froch or Balzsay. As for Larsen, he will end up shinning shoes soon.

Larsen is ranked 38th by Boxrec, far from a live and dangerous prospect.

Zuniga should provide a great learning experience for a kid with only 23 fights. He is a swarmer/brawler type fighter who can also fight off the back foot. He has had a couple fights where he seemed a bit lethargic, but he normally throws a lot of punches. He has serious power in his short left hook and his right hand. He can bring the pressure, he's really strong, decent stamina, fairly athletic, and he has a head like a rock.

He does not have a stellar jab, his hand speed is mediocre, he's has to be considered small at 168, he has a tendency to cut around the eyes, and he can definitely be outboxed. I don't know much about Bute. Based on what I do know, I expect Bute to score a clear UD. Bute should probably avoid a war of attrition. That's Zuniga's fight. And Bute must not take Zuniga lightly.

People make me laugh on here. They would blame Bute for not giving Andrade a rematch when Bute is not the one making the fights and when they have NO idea wether Interbox tried or not to make the fight.

Andrade should fight next vs Tsypko in a IBF title eliminator, a fight he is likely to win. Maybe, his camp doesn't want Andrade to go and fight Bute again right now in an optional defense when there are good chance he will get another shot later this year as a mandatory challenger ? And who knows, GBP may even choose to go to purse bid, win it and have Andrade fight on home turf ?

Anyway, most probably the reality is completely different but the point is that why slate Bute for not giving Andrade a rematch right away when we don't even know if Andrade was offered the fight or not.

Bute will give us a good indication on how his last fight is a thing from the past or if he's still hesitant.

I think he will be ok and we should expect Bute vs Andrade II, plus a unification before the end of 2009.

You haters should know a little more about boxing politics. First of all, it is common that a rematch is not settled immediately. Second, when the IBF said the referee did a good job but put Andrade at number 2 spot, it was clear for everyone that both part had agreed on that scenario. Golden Boy promotions didn't protest officially because they knew Andrade would have an immediate shot to become the mandatory. Only you haters or ignorant people continue to think Bute had to give a rematch right away. Andrade's promoter agreed with the IBF for a fight against Tsypko, then a rematch with Bute. Think more, write less.
