Hell no there's no problem with this fight. Like I said in an earlier post; Zuniga should provide a great learning experience for a guy with only 23 fights. A brawler/swarmer with KO power in both hands who can bring the pressure AND fight off the back foot; great experience.

 

Zuniga ko's bute. he's tough back in the day he dropped pavlik and gave him all he could handle untill being stopped on cut

 

Your scenario can happen. You have to consider though that Zubiga is very small for a SMW. His power is diminished at that weight, like the Inkin fight showed. Bute is not Pavlik. He moves very well and won't brawl with Zuniga. He will outbox him. Zuniga goes backwards when he is hit. That will give breaks to Bute, unlike against Andrade, who continues to come forward all the time. A good and exciting fight. Bute will want to show something in that fight. Zuniga will be ready too. Against Inkin, he had 2 weeks to prepare. Against Bute, he will have a decent training camp. 7 more weeks to wait.

 

Andrade will get his rematch you can be sure. Just Bute needs a tune-up or two(although its a little ridiculous for me to call Zuniga a tune-up)

 

One of the best tune-ups of the year.

Stéphane Larouche, Bute's coach, was asked yesterday about the 5 day period when Zuniga sparred with Bute last summer. He said they sparred a couple of times and that there was big banging in the gym. He had a smile on his face aying that. Good sign for us. That should be an entertaining fight. Larouche doesn't want to say much about Zuniga. But we can figure out that he still thinks Bute is a better boxer.

 

I do not believe Zuniga's power is diminished at 168. Did you see him batter Oganov from pillar to post, and knock him out? I posted the clip.

 

I know that clip. It's just that Oganov has proved he's not an elite fighter so I'm not sure yet of his real power at 168. You may be right.
