**** me dead, what an ending People will talk about this fight forever. Bute won but barely and in very dramatic fashion. You could see from midway through ro0und 11 that Andrade would just keep coming and coming and coming. About a minute into the final round you could see Bute was dead tired and in trouble, 1 minute to go you could see Bute was in VERY VERY big trouble. 30 seconds to go you could see Bute was gone and in the final 5 seconds Bute stumbled to the ropes and was blasted with a Andrade shot that slumped him to the floor. Ref ****ed up - Andrade should have won - the count was no **** about 17 seconds long. What an ending
Wow **** im pissed i missed that, Andrade's a ****ing weapon, never quits. Sounds like Bute's got the goods, ****ing ref.
Ref is working the "Andrade was leaving the Neutral Corner Angle" - he delayed the count to get Bute the win...everyone will come to this conclusion, even the staunchest Bute fans
TV shows he was up at the count of 8 or so. The ending was controversial because Bute needs to show he is capable of continuing.
...which he wasnt capable of continuing and ref helped. Man Bute dominated him for all but a few minutes of the fight. **** fighting Andrade, he grows stronger everytime he's hit
Like i said, when you watch it yourself you will see he wasnt. The ref even said in the post fight interview that Bute was gone and Andrade ****ed up by walking around the ring :-(
We need to see the bigger picture. The rules of boxing clearly state that if a fighter leaves the neutral corner while a count is being issued, the count is suspended until the fighter goes into the corner. We need to see the shot that shows if Andrade did in fact leave the neutral corner. Andrade wouldn't have got the chance to punch Bute again, because the round had finished.
To be fair, Bute boxed Andrade's ears off for most of the fight. However, the ending justifies a rematch in that there'll be interest in it. 168lbs doesn't have a whole lot going on anyway.
Yeah Bute pounded on that ass the entire fight. A rematch would probably be the same without the controversy.
