I am a huge boxing fan and a boxer myself, well trainer now, but I must admit I am not up to date on BUTE, I believe I saw him fight once on espn2 and was impressed...I have seen andrade a bunch of times ...am i correct in assuming bute will outbox him or no...can someone into the european scene give me a rundown on this fight so I can enjoy it fri night?

    thanks

Good boxer, good amatuer background, defensive minded with decent pop.
A very large Super Middleweight like Mikkel Kessler.

    Frighteningly effective against shorter fighters.

He should be able to pick Andrade apart.

If it's TFFP then they are both bums and Kessler kills all but if not then yes Bute should outbox him but it's not the same Andrade,he has improved under Grant since Kessler and it's a bad style matchup for Bute(pressure fighter) but Bute'speed, skills, southpaw stance, footwork should win him a decision.Body work will be very important here.

I'm actually quite high on Lucian Bute.
He has a very sharp left hand, he brings angles and speed.

Lucian and Kessler will battle for SMW supremacy down the line, Kessler probably wins it, but Lucian puts up a good fight, and Mikkels flaws makes him vulnerable for a technician like Bute.

Make no mistake, Lucian with his 6'2 frame makes for a HUGE SMW.

Middleweights like Pavlik and Abraham are gonna be in a lot of trouble if they move up to SMW with Bute and Kessler reigning.

Not if he fights like he did Pavlik the first time but yes he would fare better and lose.Taylor would have huge problems with Froch,he better man up after he beats Lacy to fight Froch:yep

Taylor is a different story, because he has speed and a damn good jab.
Pavlik and Abraham though... I mean, Pavlik gets knocked out (sorry my fellow KP fans) and Abraham gets dismantled, turtle defense does not work against Kessler nor Bute, and Kessler will prove it bigtime against Haussler.:good
