Good points Decebal, i havent seen much of Bute before and to me it looked like he fought like a Champion in the sence that he made Berrio create the match and went contra, a litle bit like a Ottke or Mads Larsen. Is this typicel for Bute? If so the hard part would be to become the Champion, and the easy part would be to keep it?

I don't think Bika looked bad against Bute.

I was surprised that Bute got hit so much. Other than that, I think he fought a very good fight. His defense definitely looked sharper against Bika. I wonder why? Perhaps he isn't used to defending on the backfoot? I'll have to take a look at the fight again.

Yes...Berrio hurts you more than Bika...Bika had his best fight against Bute...and so did Berrio who was better, fitter and stronger than ever tonight...I wonder whether Berrio could KO Bika though...I am not so sure...I think Bika would take him though...but overall, Berrio is better than Bika because even though Bika makes you struggle and look bad...he loses, whereas Berrio sometimes sparks you, at the highest level...Bika would look better than Berrio against the Top 5 opponents but Berrio would have a higher chance of winning, I think. Against opponents outside the Top 15, Bika would win more than Berrio, I think.

Bute's chin has been tested a couple of times and wasn't shakey! Berrio hit Bute with a very hard left hook (I think) and a hard right uppercut, a couple of times, and Bue was fine...his eye swelled but he was fine...not shakey...I am no chinchecker, but I think Bute has a very good chin.

Bute loves to counterpunch and when he has hurt you to go for the kill. This is how he works...it's a good strategy because itgives him time to figure out his opponents in the early rounds while staying out of trouble and keeping the scorecards ticking over and then, once he has you figured out, he takes his chance more and goes for it...Bute seems to take a couple of rounds to get going using this strategy, but by the 10th round, he is on song...it worked against Bika and Berrio...so it's OK!:good

    What Bute said in Romanian:

He thanked the Romanians in Romania who got up so early (5 am) to support him. He said that his support meant a lot to him. He said he hopes that he hasn't disappointed them! He thanked his fans everywhere in the world, his family and his mother..."Mum, I love you!"...then he started crying, thinking about what his mother meant to him!

Great guy, Bute! He is a truly nice fellow. I wish him all the best! One of the good guys for sure!:thumbsup

Yes...Bute wasn't at his best tonight...strange...but Berrio can hurt and he went for it, not thinking about his chin...I guess Berrio said to himself...screw my dodgy chin...I will take him out...it's my only chance!

Ok if he goes for the kill, hes is nothing like Ottke:lol:

Do you agree on that it will be easier for him, with his boxingstyle, to defend his belt then it was to gain it?

Who would you like to see him against next?
I would like to see a match against Mundine or Lacy, and i also think that Inkin deserves a shot..And then Calzaghe or Kessler.

i think Bute will make 1 or 2 easy title defenses with some top 15 to cash it a bit. i can understand that.

Why would that be? He goes for it in the latter rounds...despite taking it easy in the early rounds...figuring his opponent out...but he is still scoring!

I don't want Bute to defend against guys outside the Top 10...and he should certainly not defend against guys outside the Top 15...what is the point of clocking countless defences against limited/non-dangerous competition? Just to make money and pad that record?

Still, Bute isn't ready to take on the best out there...JC and MK...but YES! I want his to take on the best of the rest as soon as possible...I would love him to fight Lacy or Mundine! Or Froch and Inkin! Definintely! :good
