the same Yvon Michel who said on CKAC that Bute is a world class fighter? Even though Bute is from a rival promoter. double-standards.
Yep, Montreal is a BIG fan of boxing...IF theres one of us who fight.. Seriously, 85 percent of Bute's fan, don't know Holt...if not greater.
or the same Yvon Michel who tried to say to Berrio that he shouldnt accept less money than that and nearly put the fight in jeopardy? Yep, double-standart. Michel is a shark. It's well known.
you can't be serious? bute kills him for 11 rounds, then gases and gets smacked because he can't keep his hands up. still was able to beatthe count and you think that it will be a surprise if he wins the rematch???
They could give a rat's arse about what happens to Andrade...and the reputation of boxing in Montreal...but they don't. They care. :good
It is because I think Andrade started getting the better of him, after a slow start, as soon as the fifth round. Bute came back, but not because he changed anything, but because Andrade inexplicably stopped doing what had worked for him in the 5th. Then, there's the matter of the referee...a couple of times in rounds 6-10, he gave Bute a bit of a breather when Andrade was doing good work on the inside. Bute looked very tired as early as the 10th round. A more aggressive Andrade, imposing an even higher workrate, with a referee that doesn't let Bute clinch and doesn't save him on the inside...well...this prospect is worse for Bute than the one in the first fight was. Unless Bute had had a very bad night, I see Andrade as the slight favourite in the rematch, with a neutral referee. Just my honest oppinion...:good
About Zuniga, I just wanted to say how impressed I was with his courage and heart, the way he fought the pain to try and beat the count when he got hit with that killed uppercut in the solar plexus. He could have quit there and then, but got up to take what was a certain beating. He even came out swinging, trying to catch Bute big. That was impressive.:yep
About people who thought the Joppy performance would suggest that Bute would not be able to stop Zuniga early...well, it turns out that even a badly faded Joppy had more and was better than Zuniga. It's a fact! Joppy won a round against Bute! Zuniga wasn't even close to winning a round. I guess experience and class do count for a lot.
