Maxime, don't panic. Bute is bigger and stronger then Cotto is compared to Margarito.

I am not saying Bute will stop Andrade, what I am saying is, they are of similar height and size. I thought about this also but I don't think it will be the same kind of bout.

You could even say that Larouche will have watched Cotto-Margarito and adjust accordingly.

the diference is that Bute will fight his fight, not try another style like Cotto try in borrowing Mayweather's shoes

I'm not saying to result will be the same.

But it is a classic boxer vs pressure/puncher match up. Like Cotto-Margarito was.

In that you are right. But again, I've never seen Bute hurt. Where Cotto was hurt many times during his career.

Also, Bute can trade and hits harder then people give him credit for. If Andrade tries to trade with him, he will be surprised. Also, he will GO to the body where Cotto didn't. This will make a difference.:rasta

You have to be right about how Bute will get rid of Andrade. I keep telling people that Bute will KO Andrade by hitting the body non stop.

As far as comparing to Cotto vs Margarito, the similarities are mostly right for Andrade, but Bute hits harder than Cotto and won't fade away because he'a always top shape and can go 15 rounds anytime.

It will be very entertaining and will prove Bute in many observer's eyes.

    So, it's all good !

Anyway Andrade is the biggest challenge Bute has had in his career so far but it's goona be a hard fight and I see Andrade stopping Bute but most likely he will get outboxed in a boring fight.

    It's now official!

    Lucian Bute on Showtime!

Montreal, Thursday September 4th 2008 – The highly anticipated IBF Super Middleweight title showdown featuring Lucian Bute (22-0-0, 18 KO) vs. Librado Andrade (27-1-0, 21 KO) will be available to 14 million households throughout the United States. InterBox has reached an agreement with the prestigious Showtime Network for it to broadcast the Bute/Andrade World title fight live from the Montreal Bell Centre on Friday, October 24th.

Showtime’s decision to broadcast from Montreal constitutes a first in the history of Quebec boxing. “We are honoured at the interest that Showtime has demonstrated towards this fight, as well as towards Lucian Bute and InterBox. The eagerly anticipated Bute/Andrade bout has aroused the emotions of all sports fans throughout Quebec, and we wanted to go even further by attracting a major international television network. This was our priority, and we can say that our mission is accomplished” states Sportscene Group President Mr. Jean Bedard.

Mr. Gordon Hall, Showtime’s Vice President, Production states the following: “We are extremely excited to come to Montreal to showcase this world title on Showtime. We pride ourselves on giving our audience the best fights and Bute vs Andrade is a good style matchup which promises to be an action packed fight and one you won't want to miss”.

A few boxing writers in America had expressed their disappointment that the Bute/Andrade fight would not be televised in the United States, including the reputable Dan Rafael of ESPN. InterBox and Showtime have put those feelings to rest. SHOBOX: THE NEW GENERATION will broadcast the Bute/Andrade bout live, as well as the semi-final bout scheduled for 10 rounds, starting at 11 PM EST.

Rescheduled start time for the Boxing Gala
Due to the semi-final and main event bouts getting underway later than usual, InterBox has rescheduled the Gala to start at 8 PM instead of at 7:30 PM.

GREAT NEWS, SHOWTIME WILL BE THERE

American boxing fans will be able to see Bute fight and they will be in a position to see how we do boxing nights up here in Montreal. Let me tell you that after a well fought match with the croud going crazy, many of you guys will want to come to Bell Center next time for our Champions.

It's all good and it should help Interbox negociate other special events like this one, it also very big for Bute because of the american exposure he never got before. This should make things easier when looking for bigger names to sign against our local international talents.

As usual, my bodies and I ( I have a 19 seats row always reserved for me) will be partying all night and we will be cheering for our man Bute to climb the steps to unification against whom ever as the balls to fight him, and I mean anybody that can make 168 pounds.

So bring on the likes of Taylor, Pavlik, Lacy and of course Kessler. My man Bute will take every one of them if the are eager to sign the contract.

Just can't wait, GO BUTE GO !

By the way, Andrade will not finish on his feet for the first time of his career with his liver turning into jello...
