    Then make the fight in the States. Brinkley has a pretty decent following in Reno. It would be perfect to break the ice in the USA.

    Its really too bad. I'm sure other options turned out blank or they wouldn't have waited so long just to fight Brinkley. Bute has only had 7 rounds in the last 12 months and Brinkley is the kind of fighter you can fight every 2-3 months. It's already been 2 months since Bute's last fight.

    Jesse Brinkley?! Sheesh! My 3 year old nephew takes a better bodyshot than he does. Expect for Bute to blast him outta there with a leff uppercut to the solarplexis in about the 1st or 2nd round. Talk about a gimme opponent.

    They might decide to "carry" him for a few rounds to make him look like a more "legitimate" opponent.

    Hmmm Bute seems to be following the Jones Jnr / Calzaghe path to "greatness" sit on ones title at home fighting B level guys so he looks amazing.

    We all know the sanctioning bodies are bull****, I dont give a toss if he been made a joke mandatory, the BEST guy Bute has fought is a toss up between Bute and Miranda ( neither Elite guys ) all his fights have been at home ( ok a couple early on against nobodies ) and yet hes being touted as one of ( if not the ) main men at SMW. Thats exaclty what Joe and Roy did.

    I dont doubt his talent ( I didnt Roys or Joes either ) but its a bull**** fight in saftey first career !
