Actually a good fight for both don't think Dawson should fight at 168 lbs again, so the fight will have to be at 175 lbs, which I think Bute is fighting at next. It could go either way but both are coming off loses that will probably affect there confidence in beating top class boxers as it is a first for both of them to be in a situation where no matter what they tried their opponents had and answer for beating them.
Both looked drained for 168. I fear Bute can't safely make smw anymore, so this fight is actually possible in the near future.
Bute had truble making 168 lately he wanted to move up at 175 after the Froch fight but now with the rematch in sight he can't. It needs to be at 168 for the IBF strap. So for both guys this fight would have been better at 175. If somehow Bute beat Froch in the rematch I'm afraid if by any chance Ward will fight him... it will be at 168.
Solid fight.It appears Dawson may be on the downside judging from the Ward fight.I think Bute may just edge him.Bute just a busier fighter. Dawson should find a career with the Salvation Army for his non violent effort.
