Bute Vs. Froch - It's officially on!

1 What does fragile Glass Jaws have to do with bodyshots ?
2 Show me other fighters who had as many KD, KO's and been so efficient as Bute against C and D level fighters.

Rewatching the Johnson fight and I clearly see why Johnson hurts his R arm. He's throwing it and pulling it back at the same time soas to protect his liver from another body shot.

As you said, fighters who Bute can take to the body.....will go when he hits them. Or.....they will protect and fight defensively, pulling their R hand all night. I can't see Froch doing that. Once he's hurt to the body he will become the aggressor and that's when the UCs and Bute's new and improved R hook will drop him.

I agree. Froch takes many clean punches and I think Bute will probably stop him.

I dont think it will be close. I think Bute will easily beat Froch. Froch is very slow and has a low workrate.
He was able to stay reasonably competitive with Ward as Ward seems to slow as fights go on. I think Frochs lack of following up and poor workrate cost him against Ward and Kessler.
Still you are right in that Froch has fought Kessler in Denmark and Ward in America and has fought away 5 times in his last 6 fights.

Ward needs to fight Bute to prove he is the best, and you say because Ward is champ he can duck fights, thats a benefit . Sure it is, he seems to want to keep away from Bute

He was old well before that. Froch even said in the build up to Ward that he feels like an old man. Froch takes many clean punches and didnt turn pro till his middle 20s. Froch looked far better earlier in his career when he was faster with better movement and workrate. You can comment on the opposition, but I include the time Froch looked lucky to many against Adamu

Different characters and mentalities. Carl Froch has always been pretty straight forward, whilst Andre Ward is often dishonest, if not deceitful, in his statments. Personally, I really like Ward as a fighter, it's the man I have a problem with.

 

what was the revenue of Ward after he beat Froch ?? and what was the revenue of Bute after he beat Magee / Mendy ?? ..... please tell me , i'm just curious !!

 

Froch has always been a slower version of Kessler....but his grit and will make up for it, and fight for fight, year for year, I have them about even H2H.

Sad really that Bute was locked out of the tounrament and a false king was crowned, but it's over now, and even 2 yrs later, it's better for Bute to get these fights than not.

Froch and Kessler and Steiglitz need to be on his resume IMO. Ward too, but we all can foresee Ward dropping his titles to avoid Bute.

I think after this year we'll see Bute with KO wins over Stieglitz and Froch, and maybe next yr with a win over Kessler and D2. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Dre got Bute to come to Detroit/Windsor before the end of summer.:deal

 

I'm quite the opposite. Ward is a true gentleman outside the ring and seems highly intelligent and humble. Inside the ring he's a dirty fighter (often).

I think age is the major difference between Ward and Froch. Froch is 34 and nearing the end while Ward is approaching his prime.

There's a reason Bute decided to defend his paper title against Manfredo, Magee and the likes rather than joining the tournament.

Ward can fight whoever he wants and no one can/will say ****. All these guys Bute is trying to fight, Ward already beat.

Bute will only be a legitimate option once he fights legitimate opposition and beats them. Fighting bums like Brinkley, Manfredo, Magee..etc proves nothing, it only proves "all-time great body punching skills" to dumbass fruitcakes.
