Bute's fans will tell you Bute would win.

Froch's fans will tell you Froch would win.

Only way to find out what would really happen is for them to fight. :D

I'm kinda torn on this one because to date we've only seen Froch in with one guy that wasn't a complete bum. Only problem is that that one guy who wasn't a bum had also never previously been in the ring with a real contender. So for me I find it kinda hard to know just where the ******* stacks up against the rest of the division. Add to that Bute himself hasn't really tested his metal agaisnt the best (and might have a suspect beard) makes for a difficult prediction.

My best guess would be that Froch isn't a pressure fighter and so long as Bute has championship level stamina and durability (i.e. better then he showed in the Andrade fight) then he'd beat Froch. Froch's not as pollished a boxer as Bute. That being said Bute is way too Cute for his own good so who the hell knows.

Just on the basis of what state Andrade left Bute in by the finish, I reckon Froch. Froch just hits hard and Bute cannot manage too many of those. I have not seen anything of him - but he must have something good in his arsenal if he is being discussed at world level.

i think this is 50-50, I dont like Froch weak defence, he certainly isnt hard to hit and a good boxer like bute could pick up a decision.

However Andrade is a punch bag with arms and he nearly had Bute out, Froch throws better shots and hits very hard himself a KO victory for Froch isnt out of the question.

Im edging with the better boxer though, Bute on pts.

He nearly had him out because he was completly wored out, tired, weak. Froch wont KO him, Bute has a great chin, never hurt, and Froch dont throw enough punch to tire Bute out.

Froch needs to fight two mandatory defences after winning a vacant belt...
