Martinez is a small MW, Bute is a big SMW. Guess who hits harder? I'll write the answer for you, just in case: Bute. I don't say he will KO Pavlik but he hits much harder than Martinez.
As of right now, they are looking for a lefty to fight Kelly. A tentative date of August 20th, here in Y-town.
This is a fight that will tell us more about Pavlik than Bute; i.e. Pavlik is finished in the sport of boxing. This is clever match-making by both Arum and Interbox. For Interbox, they can add a 'name' to Bute's ledger, safe in the knowledge that they are getting the maximum reward (universally known American with a good fanbase and the former lineal middleweight champ) of making money and furthering Bute's name with as minimal risk as possible to their (protected) investment. For Arum, it's a great way to really cash out on a washed up, drunken bum. Pavlik looked like he had never boxed in his life when he last stepped in the ring. Whoever said a C grader like Mendy is a tougher test than Pavlik is probably right.
nice. that makes me feel a little better. this whole "arum not wanting a fight in the interim" was making me a bit uneasy.
Thats the best case scenario for Pavlik. Take another fight, even better if its a home fight, to get into better fighting shape. I know he'll be the underdog but I think, if he's performing near 100%, he beats Bute. I know Loew mentioned Pavlik needs to make money even in a tune up situation but there are plenty of tv outlets and other ways to make money off of a Pavlik fight. He still carries name value in the right scenarios and fighting in Youngstown is one of them.
As all translation sucks, this one does too, but I understood enough. Thanks for the link. Bute's people saying the didnt receive an offer and that their offer was a good one and Kessler's people saying they did send an offer, but Bute didnt want to go and the Bute's offer wasnt good. I hate that, because someone (if not everyone) is lying here and I dont see why they are doing this, it doesnt help anyone.
Sauerland probably just offered the same deal but with Copenhagen the venue. I doubt any of the parties really wanted the fight at this moment in time.
A fight with Bute in one corner.. Wonder where it will take place.....atsch (and this is even a fight that Bute could win away without too much trouble, but I doubt he has the cojones to go out of his comfort zone)
You seem prety certain of that but there is reason of doubt; but there are some details: Interbox seem to had in mind Kessler as a first option after they came to see Bute in Canada; they even sent an offer before Bute deffended against Mendy; by that time Sauerland was pulling to get Kesller mando at WBO, they didn't get an answer for Showtime as they were hoping to promote Bute-Kessler during Kessler-Boudhla; Then Sauerland is in a real hurry to make Kessler mando even if Boudha was only 6 rated at WBO and working full time as a bodyguard to a mayor of a city in France; Kessler fought a orthodox figter rather then StJust a lefthander rated 2nd by WBO; then SAuerland confirms they got an offer from interbox and says is a low offer , they claim they send an counter offer - Interbox denies it; after Saurland says "Stiegliz is our first option" , Interbox contacts Pavlik's team; "all these little details really bother me" and backs me up when i'm saying "Something is rotten in the state of Denmark" i say Interbox wanted the fight and Saurland pulled really hard to find an easier route.
dude, you are ****ed up in the head. The venue will be were the money are. I think your name is Jean Pascal and you need to come out of your closet .
Spot on :good. I a debating these things with these funboys and they are trying to take the smell of Kessler & Saurland ****. Give me a break.....
