Bute vs. Pascal set to be announced tomorrow; Ward to defend the title against Bika

This is getting better and better.

And for those who say Pascal/Froch/Ward etc will beat the **** out of Bute, I as a fan I'm gonna say: At least he tried.

 

Bika. No one wants to see that fight. Pascal has a good chance of stretching Bute.

 

Bute really needs another tune up, his confidence was non-existant in the Grachev fight.

Has Ward forgotten that he already beat Bika?

 

There's talk about Bute being on the undercard of Pascal-Dawson II.


But, Dawson could very well derailed the plan...and they know it.
That's why it might be Pascal-Bute "drette" on may 25th.

 

I've seen the last fights of Bute and Pascal and Bute will probably win. He looks like **** vs Grachev but Pascal was just awful vs Kuziemski. But maybe at 175 Pascal will get the edge. This will be a great fight, so I will make the 6hrs trip from Kitchener to MTL.

Man, I hope Pascal doesn't back out of the Dawson fight. I was looking forward to that do or die matchup.

In an ideal world, since Andre Ward says he will be ready by then, he would go up immediately to 175lbs and therefore HBO could showcase the following on May 25th with 40 000 in attendance live at the ''Big O'' in Montreal :

Ward vs Dawson rematch for the 175lbs WBC belt
Bute vs Pascal as a mandatory spot to fight the winner
The rest of the undercard could be very interesting as well...

The winners and losers face each other further on in September on another double header.

 

Yeah but even in the first 4 rounds it was ugly and after 4, JP rarely shine.

Especially when a victory over Dawson is far from being guaranteed...

If you don't like him fine. But find something else than that fight...
Because in THAT fight he was one-armed.
