yeah he wasn't a wore out back then . he' a good gate keeper now. and to think if he ahd beaten ward he could of been in the super six. Miranda vs Froch, miranda vs taylor, Miranda vs Kessler , miranda vs Dirrell. all great fights
I've not miss a single fight from either of them since they turn pro (Bute, Pascal), and let's me tell ya that Pascal, even tho he is very talented, doesn't have the tools to beat Bute. Bute was tired vs Andrade, it's not a chin issue. He can take a punch.
Aahah you are funny. Just boxing talks. MOst people who saw these fighters fight (more than once) are picking Bute. I must admit i love myself. And, yes, most will think people make sense when they think the same as you.
Ahaha i dont know what your problem is...Still, you are funny. MY world wont shatter when Bute loses (and yes, he will. Hou!! Big prediction there!). I dont give a **** if he loses or not. I just want to see good fights. Picking a guy over another. Giving your opinion. How can you conclude i would be personally affected if i'm wrong? Maybe you are like that. Not me.
I think the real question here his : How fast will Pascal keep on improving? Bute has reached top level way earlier than Pascal and is now progressing slower (just stating the obvious for the sake of my comment), but Pascal has showed massive improvements in his last 2 fights. Of course, Pascal is still behind Bute in technical terms, but he's getting closer. He rolls with the punches better, uses his shoulders more to block punchers, shortened his punches (which are still way to wide though) and appeared to get tougher (chin-wise). True, he still haven't proven himself as much as Bute, but keeping on citing the Pittman fight over and over is an easy, and kind of lazy way to try to end the debate. You have to consider that this was his third fight in little more than 6 months, with an injured shoulder. Not making excuses here, he did not look good in this fight and shouldn't have fought but that was a management decision... All I'm saying is that we should see the Pittman fight for what it was (an error that could have been costly), as much as his two last fights (milestones in progression) to evaluate his potential. Pascal may not be ready for Bute right now, but at this rate, give him 2 or three good fights and I think it will be a totally different story.
INeresting. I agree the PIttman fight is past and Pascal has improved since. I'll change your question: WILL Pascal continue to improve enough to beat Bute?
tito is the founder member of thebigmeupbute club....anytime soon his ilusions of how great bute is are gonna be shattered...:yep
@ 175 Pascal all day. Looked very good against Diaconu, moved his head much better, and i don't think Bute can take very much punishment from him at LHW
You'll have to explain. I'm also picking Pacquiao to win...alos picking Haye...my head up their arse too? Maybe you are confusing me with another? This thread is about BUte Vs Pascal so of course...i'm talking about BUte...you know.:huh DO some research and you'll find that i said: "I think Calzaghe would beat BUte"..."I think Kessler would beat Bute"... Have already said he was too tentative. Not throwing enough. Olding too much in the ANdrade fight. That his ko% was not representative of his real power...That he is not fighting enough. That i hope he's done fighting some Joppys and Zunigas... I think i'm objective.
