Bute is going to end Pavlik's career for good.

1st, I'll apologize to you for singling out your post. That was not the smartest of me.

However the points made there after stand. Because all KP threads get littered with those "BUT" posts.

KP is 29 years old. He admitted he was ****in' up and took steps to better the situation. The good news is he did this in time to turn things back around. He has all of 2 losses. Both were to top 5 p4p fighters. People will see.

KP's not some beat all to **** old man.

Oh, I don't know... Someone who hasn't staggered out of Rehab recently? Perhaps Jean Pascal at a catchweight if he can't wait for the winners of Hopkins-Dawson and Ward-Froch

No worries man :good...I thought I was being singled out by booradley with the "BUT" posts. Perhaps he was referring to those types of posts being common on ESB. Yeah, I've said stuff like that before (although I picked Kelly confidently over Martinez by TKO), but I've only said it against fighters like Ward and Bute - guys who I think have pretty bad styles for him because of their speed. Maybe his last fight where he didn't impress me much was just inactivity and being rusty. I hope so, because I enjoyed seeing Pavlik walk guys down and pound them into submission. But I just have this bad feeling that he's starting to slow down a bit physically because of the punches he's taken (which would slow down a lot of people) and his lifestyle. I also don't see the same confidence he used to have when he was undefeated.

If B Hop can make Pavlick look slow, You know Bute will clown his ass. The tradeoff is that B Hop has a better set of whiskers than Bute and if Pavlick can touch him enough, Bute might be in trouble.

Appreciate your understanding, I had been thinking of making that post for a while, and your post just reminded me...:p

Your other points are fair and even if I don't agree 100% on everything together, I understand where you're coming from.:yep

The Kelly Pavlik of the Pavlik/Taylor II fight gives Bute everything he can handle. Does he show up for this fight? We shall see.

im with you boo this is not smart on team pavlik. he just has not done anything above 160 yet even his fight with jt at 166 he didnt look that good. he didnt look that good against gomez in his last fight. he should take a few more tune ups to get crisp again and work on his power. im gonna root for him like i always do but this is gonna be a tough fight for him.

Now that I'm an 'Akronym' 5 days a week, we'll have to try and get together for a beer.

Gotta disagree on the second Taylor fight though. Kelly did an excellent job of boxing in that match up against a guy who mainly tried to survive. In spite of that he hurt him with a body shot in the 11th and almost had him out.

u hit that 11th rd on the head but before that the fight was closer than the score cards read. i remember jack lowe telling pavlik he needed a ko. but all in all it was a good fight. pavlik was a beast at 160. yeah that sounds good on that beer though hermit

Bute probably takes the decision, but I'd love to Kelly show up and blast him out of there.
