Bute is fast in every way, has 19 ko's in 24 bouts, is active in a ring.

If you talk about Mads Larsen, he was the first choice before Zuniga. What Bute need next is a hard 12 round before the Andrade II. Larsen would take Bute all the way............................................

 

Sorry but he's not in the top 15 anymore.

Larsen doens't have the right style to prepare Bute. And I'm not sure at all he would take Bute all the way.

 

While I'd love to see Ward or Dirrell fight Bute, neither of their promoters is going to send their prized prospect to the Bell Centre to fight Bute, and there wouldn't be enough money in such a fight to have it elsewhere.

Allen Green might make sense. DiBella has basically told him he needs to take the fights he makes him, or he'll get dropped. Unfortunately, Jeff Lacy wouldn't surprise me just because he's a name, although Bute would whip his ass.

 

WBC #12, WBA #7, WBO #5 and IBF .....................? Off cause Larsen should have fought Bute. I know - Larsen isn't the perfect challenge before the Andrade fight but who is???. Larsen would give Bute 12 rounds of hard boxing. Thats what Bute needs!

 

Larsen had the 15th spot on the IBF ratings when the fight was proposed to him. He's not anymore and won't be in the couple of weeks. That means Bute CANNOT fight him in an optional defense.
