Look SHOWTIME (American), are trying to give Americans a chance to do well in this tournament, make a name for themselves and possibly gather interest from fans within the patriotic country that they are. If you refuse to see that....

If Bute was a sure bigger draw than most, then he would have been invited but its not the case, therefore...its 3 Americans vs 3 Euros !;)

For Showtime, Bute is not American and not European, since he doesn't live anymore in Europe. Anyway, he's not with one of the promoters who organize the tournament, that explains alone why he is not in it.

how can you post like that and say americans on the street dont know taylor as a rule but conveniently say nothing about how many knew froch - it pisses me off when people do this because you know damn well that only ex-pats would know who froch was before the taylor fight and for every person who knew froch on the street in the US, 20 would know taylor.

Like molitor, he's a good boxer but he's overhyped. he tires when the pressure is on and can't take big bombs...andrade didnt hit him with any bombs and very nearly knocked him out

Stiegliz would knock him out? Why then his staff refused to meet him this spring (official news) ? Look buddy here:

Abraham, Taylor, Andrade, and Ward aren`t champions and the last two never been in their life.Taylor momentanly is a looser, Abraham just a bet for SMW. But it`s your right at an opinion.

Bute was dead on his feet by the end of the Andrade fight. This being the same Andrade that Kessler played with like a rag doll. Kessler smashes Bute to pieces with one hand tied behind his back. Froch, Abraham and Taylor also beat him. Don't know enough about Ward and Dirrell operating at a decent level to make a definite judgement on them though.

First, that was not the same Andrade. His footwork and defense are better than before. Second and more important, styles make fights. Andrade is perfect for Kessler and he's the worst style for Bute. That doesn't mean Kessler would smash Bute to pieces with one hand. What happens if Bute moves around like Calzaghe did? A fast southpaw is the worst thing for Kessler. Don't expect that fight to be so easy for Kessler. You would be disapointed, like I was on the Kessler-Calzaghe fight.

And one thing sure, Ward's corner is looking at the tapes of Kessler-Calzaghe. Nobody should be surprise if Ward takes the southpaw stance in this fight.
