Interbox has been talking **** about fighting in NYC for years, hasn't happened yet. Talk is cheap, especially when it comes from Interbox.
3 months? beating ward or bute. dirrell has alot to prove still. abraham was a stationary target. neither ward or bute are that.
Bute want's Ward/Froch, winner or loser in AC or MSG in early March according to Showtime and Interbox. Showtime is already talking figure like 3 mil guaranteed and a possible 5 with Canadian TV monies and european tv monies. Obviously a Froch win would be easier to sell since he also has a huge fanbase across Europe and UK, and with the guaranteed money, the tv money, the fight could be an 8 million dollar affair for both fighters. Ward of course, coming out of the S6 final with a win will be looking for an easy defense vs Anthony Dirrel and then an easy step up fight vs Despaigne before fighting vs a 48 y/o Hopkins.:-(
I think Abraham is a bigger puncher than Froch, but without the outside ability and range, but all in all, IMO, AA is a better inside fighter than Carl. I don't think anyone here believes Ward will leave a ****hair gap between them. He'll be in Carls chest until the final bell.............. But.........here's hoping that Carl is working on a 1-2 L uppercut R cross combo.....we might just get our KO of the glass jawed hypejob afterall.:deal
I wish I could watch the fight, but I am in the Middle East right now. I would love to see Carl Froch pull the victory off. Personally, Mikkel Kessler is my favorite at 168, but I like all the guys who were part of the Super 6. They all came to fight, and you can't knock that. All of them are warriors.
Well according to Butes fanboys Butes team want a "big fight" in USA next year, BS if you ask me but they will believe anything, IF mark my words Bute fight in USA next year it will be against a nobody he is 99.99% sure to beat anywhere on the planet. And then the fanboys will return to their 2nd excuse, "but Bute can make more in Canada"
It is true, Bute would make more money when ward would in his hometown. Montreal is a huge boxing city.
