"We can say that the table is set. Andrade's fans wants it, Bute's fans wants it.Anyway, Lucian is too proud of a man to live with this kind of results for the rest of jis life. -- Stephen Larouche (Bute's trainor)

It's not for me to decide but I am ready. - Lucian Bute.

    -------------------------------------

The problem is that the IBF does not have the habit of calling for immediate rematch and Bute is kinda stuck by contract to fight Larsen in his next fight. But if all goes well, Andrade and Bute could meet again sometimes in 2009.

Yea It shows character for bute to take this rematch. I personally think he won fair in square despite ref controversy but a rematch is warranted anyway.

well, at least he publicly acknowledge he wants it. It's not like they had said, that Andrade didn't deserved one or some **** like that.

Plus, financially it would probabye make alot of sense, so I don't doubt they would be open for it.

Good news. Worst case scenario, Andrade has to fight another eliminator for the No.1 challenger position, to become his mandatory for a fight this time next year. The rematch is definitely on if Andrade wants a shot at Bute again, whether Bute wants to or not. If he wants to, even better.

Ah, by saying that, they just admitted they lost.

Cotto had alot more money to make elsewhere and a much bigger promoter than those opponents. Bute maybe not

Can you imagine the money involve in a rematch if it goes to the purse bid?

Both teams will want to have the fight in their backyard.

    :deal

They should put the rematch on HBO (B.A.D.) since Golden Boy can generate that kind of interest with them !

It doesn't surprise me one bit, that both wants this rematch. The last round made an "unfair" blemish on Butes reputation. Boxing is a cruel sport, where you are remembered by your last round, and he needs to erase this. I understand that he "has" to, but I find it to be a big dilemma. Andrade is really the worst matchup for Bute, incl. Kessler. He would be better off fighting Taylor or the like.

Furthermore I don't find it to be a good idea to look past Mads Larsen, even if he is not great anymore. If Bute loses that fight, then Bute-Andrade loses even more substance other than set things straight(er).

good if he does, but still another fight in Montreal brings a lot more money than say in neutral territory.
