Bute wants Pavlik. (Pavlik/Ward falls through. ESPN CONFIRMED)

If this fight will happen I think Bute has good chances to win it. Pavlik isn't at Froch's level plus he comes after a good period of layoff !

Good. Ward v. Pavlik was badly timed, anyway. This one is pretty much perfect.

There's a decent chance for that, I guess this is why is gonna be exciting. But there's nothing official yet.

 

It's a good fight for both of them. Pavlik would've been totally outclassed by Ward, but at least he has a good chance against Bute, vice versa.

 

Bute vs Pavlik is the perfect fight at the perfect time for both guys. The winners stock will rise tremendously and they'll be a more than worthy opponent for Kessler/Froch/Ward, and the loser is pretty much on the scrapheap.

This fight makes too much sense not to happen.

 

It has to happen, i think it will be an awesome fight. I think this fight will show that which guy who was hyped up the must. If Bute stops Pavlik before time, then maybe he deserved a rematch with Froch, even though Froch will walk him down. Should Pavlik win and before time, then he could face the winner of Kessler/Bute or even Ward. One of the best SMW matchups since Froch-Bute

 

I favor Pavlik by late stoppage.

 

Bute by KO6 over Pavlik, which gives him a mandate to KO Ward.

When he's KOd Pavlik and Ward, he should have regained his confidence to do the same to Froch. Then he can retired rightfully as the greatest SMW of this generation.

 

Bute pre-Froch would stop Kelly I reckon.

But now I'm so sure, especially after Bute's last performance.
