That's easy to say, right now, since he's not competing. Couldn't be proven right or wrong. Strictly a matter of opinion.

No question as to who's facing the better talents.

people love Dirrell because he put on a damn clinic against AA at the time an unbeaten fighter. Of course he's gonna get knocked out if you are sitting on the ground and a huge puncher like AA lands one on your head. I think it was def nerves in the Froch fight, if they were to fight again I see Dirrell winning probably easily. This Ward/Dirrell fight is gonna be the most exciting of the super six maybe AA/Ward will be good too.

umm Bute is #2 in SMW Ward is clearly #1.. Dirrell is 3rd.. I pulling for a Ward Dirrell Draw in their fight... If not I think Dirrell looses close.. exits the Tourny.. Fights Bute, Beats Bute.. Goes on to Fight Pascal or Froch... then Fights Ward again after the Torney.. Even fighting Dawson is possible.. I think Dirrell is that good.. his shitty performace against Froch was ugly.. and cost him a finals match up with Ward... so there it is.. Bute is nice.. but as explained in another post.. too offensive in his game planning.. havent seen any D work from him..

Ward has always reminded me of a poor man's B-Hop. The guy has it all a great boxing mind and willing to get down and dirty if he needs to. He will be a force to be reckoned with for years to come at 168.

im not a real big fan of Dirrell, but I KNEW he was going to give AA big problems because it was a style mismatch. Outside of the Super6, Dirrell would have been avoided by the AA camp. Thats why the Super6 is awsome. Its exposing fighters for who they really are.

    Ward > Bute > Dirrell

Dirrell doesn't deserve to be mentioned with anyone except Allan Green just yet. Maybe that's a bit harsh since Dirrell does have a win over Abraham, but I'll leave it out there until Dirrell beats someone conclusively, preferably someone who is a legit, established SMW.

Ward is nothing like Floyd. As others have said, a much more active and youthful version of BHop.

Bute would murder Dirrell, and while I think Ward is better than Bute, I would pick Bute in a matchup because of his power.

Of course, Bute is soft like cotton. That's why he has 21 kos in 26 bouts.
