Honestly never understood the hate for Bute? He was trying to fight Ward in Oakland first, and when Ward refused, he targeted the next best fight, AND travelled to make it?

    He's a nice guy. . . Humble. . Kind. . . Respectful. . have absolutely NO IDEA why the hate. . .

I always thought it was disrespectful to make fun of guys who get hurt partaking in the sport WE LOVE. . . How can you be a boxing fna, and make fun of somebody getting beat up for our entertainment? UNLESS they are cocky, and bring it on themselves. . .

NOTE: avatar is not here by choice. . . lol.

because he is a damn fraud, that would have and should have happen years ago if he would have stepped up the comp instead of fighting bum after bum.

bootay was protected his whole career, you see why he never got into the super 6 ? you see why he never fought an elite fighter ? bute has been a fraud
for yrs.good job cobra for exposing this BUM. people had him number 2 and sometimes 1 in the world and on what basis ?

good job cobra for pulling the covers on bootay

This is more a fanboy site than a boxing fan site. People seem to get that confused.

To be honest, it still doesn't change the fact that Ward swerved him. . . Hindsight is 20/20. . .

I hate it when boxers get "hypoethtical" and "imaginary" wins. . . Ward did not beat Bute, FROCH DID. . And we all know about triangle theories in boxing. . THis is a SWEET SCIENCE, not a "magical math."

Yes and no. Kessler is now at LHW? I don't see Froch rematching Dirrell, which he should do in the states to be fair. No need for a Ward/Froch rematch. I don't think Kessler would fight Ward/Dirrell even if he comes back to SMW. Dirrell/Ward already didn't happen. What fights are you realistically expecting to happen?

    QFT.

He WAS gracious in defeat, though. - but what else could he do? Complain about the ref or something?

The man got totally humiliated & exposed tonight. I must admit that I'm surprised, but I'm also thrilled.

Bute took the defeat like a man. He came there to win and just got outclassed. Nothin but the upmost respect for him, I'm interested to see where he will go now.

Did you feel the same way when Floyd tried to cherry pick Castillo's title but got beat up and gifted a decision in the process?

People like to rub their predictions in other peoples faces like children. Why would you want a fighter to lose based on his fans? I'm glad there are many in here who've given Bute his props for finally stepping up. I hope he takes the rematch and boxes smarter next time.

From a fan, it's normal that you believe that something can happen.

Fact: no triangle rule in boxing.

    Great, great fight by Froch.
This version of the Cobra is lethal.
As I said before, this fight was open for Boxing Drama.
Now that Buté's chin is exposed, I hope that the man can go beyond that.

nope but bootay can go back home and continue to do what he was doing before his fight with froch. he never wanted to step it up and you see why or you should. cant have him in boxing talking bout hes a champ and the best at 168 and he never fought anyone worth ****. froch is a throw back fighter, he was in a final in the super 6 beating the best from all over the world including some slick americans and you know they are tough to fight.
my thought is after some of the guys froch has fought bootay was cake walk and it showed big time. that was long time coming and long overdue.
