Bute is Romanian, Its his fans who are Quebec inbreds. In Quebec you can fill a stadium for fights such as "Alcine vs. Ouellet", "Bute vs. any tomato can" So when I say "inbred", I mean the fans who support hype jobs. Things are so bad in Quebec that you often get a situation where one of the TV commentators is also the promoter of the event.
Bute hasn't done a lot but then his career is still in the making. At this point I don't see him beating Calzaghe or Kessler but he could give Lacy or Miranda a run for their money. All that can be said of him now is that he has shown potential and has become the biggest draw in Canada. Considering Pascal's last two performances, Bute would have probably knocked him out.
Who the **** are you to make dumbass comments like that ? If you can spot skills and you'd have watched Bute's entire career like some of us, it would be a no-brainer to say he takes Miranda to school at least 8 times out of 10 !! Makes Miranda look like an amateur..period ! They're not in the same class as far as talent goes. Miranda has great power but he's such a HUGE HYPE job !! That's it that's all !! He isn't champion material, at least not long term.... By the way....in Australia, USA and Europe, you can also pack a venue with no names on the International scene...
You are clearly not a fan of boxing if you think it's bad that boxing is successful in Montreal! Why is it bad that many people are attending fights, why is it bad that there are some local stars with a good following, why is it bad that Montreal is becoming a good place for top amateurs to start and make a good pro career in? What the hell is wrong with you?:huh
I've seen enough of his fights vs. bull**** opposition to realise that he's not using his height well, that his stance nullifies his jab (which has zero authority, he paws with it nothing more) and that he telegraphs his punches. Plus, he fades badly late in fights. He's the worst of the 160-168 belt holders. Stick a fork in him, he's done! Bonus: Jean Pascal, the other hype job, from GYM this time, will also get knocked the **** out as soon as he steps up in competition. Same with Joachim Alcine. Eric Lucas was also a major chump back in the days. I call Quebec inbreds "friday afternoon fans", because they think real boxing is shown on "Radio-Canada" of "TVA" on friday afternoons... real fans know that champions fight on saturday nights. I wouldn't bother watching these fighters' whole careers because they have nothing special to show. They are limited. But listening to the hype job these french inbreds are making, they are world class athletes. Give me a break.
Its bad because Quebec fans can't spot a great fighter from a tomato can. Because Quebec inbreds have zero knowledge of the sport and they are prone to be influenced by GYM and Interbox propagandists into believing that Brian Norman, Alfonso Mosquera, Alejandro Berrio, and Omar Pittman are legit opponents for they're so called "'champions" Quebec is an environment where people think that Jean Pascal has got a lot of Roy Jones Jr in him.... which is a ****** thing to say and think.
I don't know why I am even arguing with you, but here goes: even if it were true that Quebec fans were not knowledgeable...how do you think you become knoweldgeable, eh, Sherlock? Not per chance by watching many fights for a long time until some knowledge rubs off? Not per chance by building a culture of boxing-watching, from which knoweldgeable fans and analysts can arise? Best not to go to any fights, and have no boxing in your city and only a couple of experts who watch all fights through satellite, right?:huh
Have you ever wactches boxing from anywhereelses on the planet you stupid ****! Bute and Alcine won championships without contreversy. Fight prior to that intelligent people understand its developpement especially the caase of a guy like Alcine who has no amateur background. At least boxers here are not brought up in front of only a handlfull fans and resorting to questionnable referiing and decision against the tomato can. Wiche if you listen to people like yourself constitue 99% of the boxers outhere.
