I've been seriously into boxing for the last 17 years now and I couldn't care less about the R-C or TVA shows !

Its easy to see that Jean Pascal will get seriously clocked if he continues to keep his hands low like always and if he doesn't move his head more than he does in there...

As for Bute, I couldn't give a **** if he's fighting from outer space, Montreal or The US for that matter. I call it as I see it and Bute has very decent skills and is easily a top 5 fighter at 168lbs !

Over his last few fights, I don't like the fact that he didn't use as many combinations as he should. He has good head movement, good mobility in the ring and a decent defence.

He uses his jab simply to set up combos and precison punches...its far from a Lennox Lewis jab but its doesn't really matter in his case because he has the tools to compensate.

You say he's the worst of the 168 belt holders,.....so MUndine is better than him ? LET'S GET SERIOUS BRO......

He is a joke and a troll, because he cannot back up his own controversial/idiotic points AT ALL!

Hey Jambon, you nickname says it all...

Your boys have got resumes filled with "jambons" (ham).

Wait and see, wait and see... as soon as these bums meet real competition they will get crushed, because at one point you have to, you can't defend your title vs. journeymen forever.

Remember how Eric Lucas got crushed by Danny Green and Kessler... well there you go...

I can't wait until Miranda - Pascal... I'll be standing up at one of your "Cage aux Sports" and I'll be cheering like crazy for Miranda. And when Miranda knocks Pascal out, I'll be cheering even louder. Can't wait.

    Hey small IQ man,

so who again has Mr. Miranda prodigy faced before getting in the big leagues ? A bunch of........JAMBONS !! That's right, remember Mr. Bible of boxing that most of his wins were coming against fighters with no wins or huge losing records....... THAT'S WHAT AREAL HYPE JOB IS !!

Pascal's in trouble against Miranda because he keeps his hands low and is delusional enough to think he's close to RJJ, but talent wise...not power, he's easily a notch above Miranda !!!

Its all rational analysis... you guys have to get real about this stuff.

I've seen too many of you inbreds cheering for guys like Baldomir vs. Mayweather, thinking he stood a chance.

You inbreds don't appreciate real skills. THat's why you think Jean Pascal's shows flashes of Roy Jones.

Look kid, I was about to give you some respect for your cold headed analysis of Bute... but now this is way too much.

I've known Pascal for a long time. I've actually trained at the guy's gym, Legends, for 6 months. I've seen him training. He's physically talented, but he's got no boxing brains. He spent half the time watching himself in the mirror instead of working on his technique. They were telling him BACK THEN (and that's the year prior to the olympics) that he needed to work on his defence. He hasn't corrected a single one of his flaws since then. Worst. He is now worst than he was back then.

He's all show, no substance. An empty package.

Miranda is a real fighter. He is serious about his training and you can see that he's improving some aspects of his game. He doesn't throw unnecessary punches anymore, unlike your boy Pascal.

    Wait and see.

Well in fact my name is there to rdicule guys like you that troll the RDS forums.

Lucas was sick and shot against Green and especially Kessler. He already slowed down before the Beyer fight. And everybody was proud of is accomplishment but nobody ever prettended he was p4p or ****. He was tought, deciplined, determined and mastered all of boxing basic despite.

It thakes a guy with no hearth and pride ti **** on a guy like Lucas. Glenn Catley was no chump and was in fact underrated. Hes been on the bad end of decision to often.

Glenn Catley was indeed a chump. He had lost by Ko to Dingaan Thobela the fight before.

Everyone knows, except the inbreds, that Dingaan Thobela had started his career at 130 and was only in for the paycheck at 168. Still Catley got Koed...

Talking about Thobela, Interbox and Gym have been able to sell this guy as the "opponent" about 4-5 times. All at 168 where he was a fat piece of trash.

At this weight he was far from the Rose of Soweto, more the "Grosse de chez McDo"

Sebastien... Pal I take back irrespectful comments made towards you. My apology...sometimes we get a little too carried away !

Anyhow I get your drift on Pascal....its typical of any athlete in any sport who sees himself too big for what he is or proved...

An attitude like that will make him cut corners such as skip running that extra mile; doing that extra set of situps or the few extra sparring sessions he needs to apply the technique he's taught...

I still have to disagree with Bute being a hype job though....
I'll end this thread by saying there's no doubt skill wise, he's a top 5 at 168 and as a belt holder, he's above Mundine in my book !!

    Cheers !

Miranda is in the same league as Sakio Bika which is a league below guys like Calzaghe, Kessler, Bute or Pavlik.

Btw how about Miranda Bika? That would be a great fight.

Fans become knowledgeable by expanding they're horizons, by watching other fights except local fights. You learn to appreciate good boxing by watching great fighters.

as it currently is, Quebec inbreds are not become boxing fans, they're only becoming fans of local fighters, period. And since the fighters are facing tomato cans, ignorance is perpetuated.

When the inbreds got to see Miranda destroy Banks in the third, I hope they realized the kind of bull**** they had been led to believe.
