When Catley fought him Thobela was still a formidable opponent. Before he became just a guy wiche you could count on to give rounds to your boxer. Wiche is not nothing for young boxers.

Bute was just 8-0 and knocking everybody out when he fought him, he needed some rounds.

And i remember a much more experienced fighter at the time fighting him, Kessler. Oh, wait thats not in Quebec is it!

When Lucas was shot he fought James Crawford to build back is shape. Then Crawford went on to fight Danny Green. Its not in Quebec either is it!

Go on boxrec and look at Calzague and Kessler first twenty fights and compare to Bute. Oh wait, there not in Montreal either!

Boxing is as well done as anywherelses where boxing is held.

Could it be that boxing is healthy here and that we just be happy and proud of our boxing? Well not if you look at it with **** gogles.

You know when they say a fighter is only as good as is last fight? Well it just means in the eyes of people who have no judgment.

If would look at older Thobela fights, he had a very sneaky punching style and ko power.

He beat Caltley with a lucky punch, but thats what he had at the time, a punchers chance and he took it.

What your brain dont understand is his value as an oppenent latter on. He became a fighter with only a good chin much like Thyse. wiche is great to display a fighter and test is stamina at the same time. No sane promoter and coaches on the planet dont want to see a fighter against such an opponent as he his developing or as a tuneup.

You were saying Catley was a very solid champ when Lucas beat him. Fact is, he wasn't. And the proof was his KO defeat vs. Thobela.
