Bute - What's his plan?

Miranda is on the books for a next fight if that's what you want to know Pantera.
Hope he still kicks ass at SMW.

 

I think Palle woud probably have went for it immediately after the Calzaghe fight. Before Calzaghe gave up/got stripped of his SMW belts, Bute was the only other belt holder (apart from JC). If Kessler wanted a belt at that time Bute was the only show in town. As it turned out, the other belts became available a few months later and Kessler fought or one of them rather than fight eliminators or the IBF belt but he did call Bute out nd Bute said no, it was well publicised at the time.

 

As a title holder, he has the power to demand a fight if he really wanted it..

He should hollering for a fight against Kessler, Pascal, and even the live young contenders like Dirrell and Green who actually has a chance against him.. At the very least, Anthony Mundine...

OK so some of the guys on his resume were mandatories but i think him and his team is taking advantage of that situation to milk his belt..

A title holder like him can demand more than that..

 

Kessler can't fight.
Pascal?Are you serious?He just lost to Froch.
Dirrell won't get close to anyone in the top 10 for some time yet.
Green said no cuz he's a *****.
Mundine is a MW.

I totally agree with that but boxing is a business and moneytalk. One big champion Wladimir Klitcshko is in the same situation, why he never ask for a fight, every time someone ask him ''who you want to fight next'' he always respond, ''I will take anyone but its the job of my promoter...BULL****. Yes, Bute should ask for more in his optionnal fight. He need less Joppy and more guys like Mundine, Dirrel or even Green, but please, let Pascal out of this discussion. He himself admit he is not ready for Bute and GYM will never put their last star against Interbox star Bute.

He can, but technically, people ought to be calling HIM out.

Pascal has one decent fight under his belt. No reason to call him out.

Kessler is in promotional limbo. No point.

Green fights once every two years, when his colon isn't acting up.

Dirrell would rather fight cabbies on Shobox.

168 is a good division, but it needs to simmer for another year. Personally, I want to see Bute - Andrade II, and with Andrade fighting in Montreal on the Holt - Bradley undercard, Bute's own fans might start clamoring for that fight.

If he doesn't want Andrade, the Taylor - Froch winner is a natural fight.

 

My point is, at least Dirrell, Green, and pascal are young contenders who has alot more chance of beating Bute than a BIka, Andrade, and Zuniga... WHo would disagree?

U need to understand the facts before making an ignorant comment..

Green has been singing songs about a Bute fight these days but Bute is ignoring him.

He says that he's not " ready " for kessler.

 

Bute will give Andrade a rematch even if this one loose against Tsypko (i doubt it but this his boxing).

 

Green and Pascal aren't ''young contenders'',they are about the same age as Andrade and Bika and not on the same level accomplishment wise at least so beating them won't get him any credit anyway.Dirrell is even more unproven.
And Green said no.That's why Bute fought Joppy.

It doesn't matter if Green/pascal are same age as andrade and Bika.. ( BIka and andrade has been in more grueling fights and they have more mileage on their body)

Green and pascal are still fresh fighters and they are young contenders..

yea back then Green turned down the fight because he was having health problems and Managment issues but now that's all behind him, he's been calling out Bute. ... But bute would rather fight easy competition in his backyward.. Calzaghe style.

 

I didn't emphasize anything,you called them ''young contenders''.They are 30 and 27 years old.That is not young contender material.You could say Ward and Dirrell are somewhat of a ''young contender'' material.
And altough Andrade has probably some mileage on board he is still a top SMW and Bika has no mileage at all.
If not young contenders I'd call them fringe contenders or borderline top 10 for what they have done.
And Green has done what exactly to deserve a chance.Might as well give a chance to the guy who beat Green,Miranda,amongst others.At least he never says no.
