Bute might well come back but he won't be obliterating Froch anytime soon. As to ppl posting how it should have been a DQ.... Watch it again, the ref waves his arms like he's calling the fight off, which is why Froch ran across the ring and jumped on the ropes and his team enetered the ring. The ref then decides for who knows what reason to start a count! At which point Bute's own team decide thats a stupid thing to do and go rescue their guy.
Blame the ref, he stepped in and waved it off. I don't think a single person out there at the time thought it was a count. Bute 'may' do better next time, that's all I have to say on the matter.
LOL oh and Bute's trainer also entered the ring while the ref was still counting. That said Bute could have a chance in a rematch - he is tecnically the better boxer ... But I doubt a rematch would end differently.
Bute was ****ed up, the fight should have been stopped than and maybe before, even bute's team agreed with this.. And whilst were are on with clutching at straws, bute's trainer was on the ring apron about to throw the towel in and I believe ibf rules do not allow this either. Bute's trainer told him before the 5th that he had 1 minute to make things right, if not he was stopping the fight. Their man was getting battered and as a corner they showed class. Many of bute's fans on here have been a class act in defeat, some continue to make excuses for their idol even though he himself had the class not to. Suggesting that bute will obliterate a fighter who has just obliterated him in an immediate re-match is delusional to say the least, froch is a fighter that has never been "obliterated" by anyone.:deal
Please explain this to me? Froch has too much power and intensity for bute, a rematch will be no different
Bute froze. Period. I think it had more to do with the fact he thought he was having a friendly boxing match rather than sending Froch into retirement. Obviously Froch had other intentions. Rewatch the fight. There was so many signs that Bute was trying to be cute and nice, and so many signs that Carl was ready to kill over than last peice of steak.:deal
im glad you're the one who made the disgusting P Will thread... hopefully you are banned by now because you are a ****ing moron. you don't know **** bout' boxin!
No he doesn't, his gloves were loaded andhe had tremendous luck. Booty's gonna prove it in the rematch.
I'll give that Bute isn't a hype job - he is a good fighter who has fought good opponents and won - Some might have made him out to be a bit better than he is - but he is certainly top5-10 in SMW no doubt ... the rest of your post is utter b*ll**** atsch Such a shame a fighter can't loose to a top5 fighter without being "exposed" "hyped" and so on - First they are accused of ducking everybody and when they fight the best and sometimes loose, then they are overhyped, exposed and so on ... But Kessler and Froch have lost fights but are still some of the best fighters in SMW - and certainly much more fun to watch than Ward Bute's next fight will give us a hint on wether or not he can come back like Kessler/Froch or if the loss ruined his game.
If I was a big Bute fan (I respect his fight game) I would be utterly pissed off at all his but hurt supporters. I like to keep **** as real as possible, sometimes you meet a dude in the ring that just stomps you out...live with it, learn from it and come back stronger more prepared or just accept the fact that you cannot overcome the hump. I beleive Bute is more talented, fluid and crisp but its clear Froch's determination, heart and durability proved to earn him an impressive win once again. Jermaine Taylor dominated him for most of the fight and was KTFO, Dirrel toyed with Froch at times yet they gave the win to Froch because of his agressiveness and even in his loses to Kessler and Ward Froch still looked to fight on, come on and stop at nothing to win. Can't help but respect his gangster. A true G.....
