well i didnt no of injury and to stay active understand. but seems so hard to unify titles with mandatories. wasnt taylor strip of ibf after beating hopkins case he didnt fight his mandatory. wasnt that before the rematch? long ago so i might be wrong. but like with bradley the wbc title grant it though after beating holt i thought he should fight alexander but shaw claims they wont let him be a unfied champ. true im not sure cause he was force so fast after winning the holt fight

Interbox boss, Lucian Bute promoter, just spoke on the local radio this afternoon. He said the voluntary defense is not working for two reasons: they promised to people of Quebec city a good opponent and wanted US tv to be there. Both reasons were not fulfilled so they decided to forget about a fight in July.

He clearly said they were two options for Bute in early September: Froch and Andrade. When asked on which one we should bet, Jean Bédard said: Froch. Negociations are more advanced with Froch than with Andrade. He said US tv was not so interested in a rematch against Andrade. Surprising. But at the same time, Interbox are confirming all Froch said earlier this week.

I don't think Showtime is in love with Bute. I think they want him to eventually face Ward and Dirrell. Since both men are well ranked by the WBC, they may want Froch and Bute to unify, then Ward and Dirrell could have a shot.

Your sense of humor could help any insomniac to get asleep. Don't forget to put smilies, that helps us to know when we're supposed to laugh.

That's at least a bit exagerated IMO.
You can never be sure of anything with sanctioning bodies.

What Showtime wants may never happen, you're right on that.
I hope that Bute-Froch works, then Andrade. If he wins both, that would be a very good year for Bute.

By the way, Interbox also said the Diaconu-Pascal fight is selling good. They will announce some good news in the next days about the undercard and the presence of US tv.
