half of Bute KO has been due to body shot , Lucian got a hell of left uppercut to the body but we didnt see this punch really often since a couple of fight. But tonight i see Bute use this shot more often and its why i see him KO Zman in the 9th
Zuniga may think he is better off losing a wide decision in a one-sided fight than getting stopped in a relatively competitive fight, I think, because on paper, and that's how casual fans look at it, it "looks" better. He may just try his luck for a stoppage and aim to survive, rather than putting everything into trying to break Bute down and stop him. On the other hand, he might want to give Bute a fright by going all out, hoping that he hadn't recovered from the Andrade scare, not least because it could get Bute to go into his shell and be less aggressive himself! Impossible to say...I guess we'll have to see... Bute's trainer said Bute would use his whole arsenal against Zuniga, unlike what he did against Andrade. I assume he means he's going to go to the body and use some hooks. He didn't go to the body at all against Andrade...:conf
Yeah, we all know Bute has a glass jaw, Rico. You taught us that some days ago. No need to rub it in. Hope you've put a big bet on Zuniga by KO. The odds are very good indeed! Put down at least $1000. Easy money, my friend. Easy money.
:barf I don't want either to lose...:| I think Bute will win, possibly by KO, but he's gonna have to work for it. Zuniga brings action for 3 full minutes, not the heaviest of hitters....but he don't stop. Sentimenally, though I really like both, I guess I'll cheer for Zuniga, he really deserves a turn "in the sun shine" if ya' can feel what I mean. Gonna be a hell of a fight, bet on that.:yep
Decebal, Bute's definately carrying the better all around skill set, etc... But man I don't want to see Zuniga lose now either (He can't really afford it at all). Ahhh..hell to tell the truth, I think Bute will KO Zuniga in the 9th round. But I will hope for Zuniga to come and do himself proud. He certainly works really hard.
I like all Colombians. Like Berrio, Zuniga comes from a very poor, deprived background. Bute's had a much better life as a young kid compared to both... Colombians come to fight and give it their all, with pride. They're always exciting and they fight to feed their families back home, not to become huge stars, etc. I don't want to see Zuniga lose. I didn't reall want to see Berrio lose either...but I did want Bute to win. Fortunately for Zuniga, even if he does lose, he'll get quite a few fights against up and coming young fighters like Dirrell, Ward, etc., trying to measure up before going for an eliminator/title shot, and he could always go down to 160 and do the same there. Zuniga's already made some good money from boxing, so I'm not worried either about him or his family. They should be all set for life, by Colombian standards. As a fellow Pavlik fan, I understand why you want Zuniga to do well though...
You hit the ol' nail on the head there in bold buddy. I'm sure he's done pretty well for himself, so I didn't really give the money much thought. Go Pa....er, I mean ZUNIGA!!!
I hope Zuniga puts in a very good performance. He's had plenty of time to prepare, and he's not flown in from overseas either, so there should be no excuses or mitigating circumstances. Bute needs to beat an opponent that delivers; otherwise...what's the point? Zuniga's a MW after all, let's not forget...:!:
Sir, I truly believe Bute will shine nicely this evening. AND it will be prime time on SHOWTIME!!! As you know I'm a bit of a Bute fan myself, and am excited for him to finally be getting the kind of attention he deserves. Wish him well, and if he's gonna do my boy, do it right...LOL. Zuniga will guaranteed put up a good fight, and Bute winning it could make him star power. Just hate it has to be Zuniga!!
Bute's a very lucky man. He's already made enough money to not have to work for the rest of his life, he's got amazing, loyal fans in Montreal and a great team (Interbox) backing him 100%...he's fought on Showtime twice now; he's fighting in his back yard...people have started to take notice...so...let's not worry about Bute's future, because it's only up to him now. No excuses! He'd better deliver!:fire:
One of the most interesting aspects of this fight is that neither man can afford to look less than great. Both have to try to really shine. Bute needs to clear up the Andrade controversy, and Zuniga lost a fight he should have won. Both are coming in looking to make a serious statement. This sort of thing always adds intrigue to a fight.
