    YES, Lucian Bute fought outside of Canada...
    (for those *****-ass ESB ****s who say he's too scared to)
    Honestly, it dont matter where he fights cuz he's gonna get a KO anyhow.
    And for those haters who say he cant fight out of Canada.... Bute just handed you a 16oz glass of SHUT THE **** UP! lol

    And im blaming you guys for him not fighting in Canada and NOT being on TV! Instead, stuck watching friggin YouTube crap with some foreign language to watch the fight. THANX!!!

    lol, honestly, not sure the reasons of fighting out there. Maybe the intent was to re-connect with his homeland or something. Maybe there was a scheduled beerfest in Montreal's arena or something. I dont know.

    I'm not one of those people btw (who slag Bute off for not fighting outside Canada), but you do realize that he was fighting in Romania, where he was born?

    That's not exactly what you would call giving up your hometown advantage and sticking it to your critics.

    to another poster, exactly why would a "Champion" go out of his way to lose a hometown advantage? And is this more about getting the best bang out of his buck "outside" of Canada for promoters?

    Some these tards wont be happy till he goes to Timbuktu and fight a gorilla....

    And why not Atlanta/MSG/LV? Probably because he just doesnt have the US draw compared to Canada or even Romania. If he does fight in the US, it will also because of his opponent. I believe his first US fight will be with an american opponent. Very good chance is Andre Ward....

    It was a nice one punch ko, but a fighter with Romanian heritidge fighting in Romania is hardly Kosty Tszyu fighting Hatton in Manchester... Still, I like Bute, hope he gets the Froch Ward winner

    he may have fought outside canada but he still hasnt fought anyone top level.id rather him fight a top 5 guy in canada than a scrub elsewhere,sweet ko though.
