:huh:huh What you was saying was, that if Ward wins, Froch will not fight him again or if Froch wins, Froch will not fight himself...:huh:huh.............

"There are only two names on Bute's CV that stand out, Brian Magee and Glen Johnson, and I beat both of those far more convincingly than he did," said Froch.

"I'd love to have a unification bout with him but it wouldn't be a particularly big fight for me. It would be an easy fight."

Is he crazy or what? Too many wars injured his brain I think. I LOVE the more convincingly part, LOL

I dont think Froch is ducking Bute and Froch never ducked anybody. I really like Froch as a fighter, but as a talker he annoys me, not just about Bute. He open his mouth and say stupid stuff all the time.

He may do this to "sell" his fights, but Bute is the living proof that you can be classy and have a draw.

Bute and his team dont seems to respect the Super Six fighters and the tournament. Always complaining about "that Bute was to good and therefore not aloud into the SS6". Just before the final, i think it gets to Froch.

He fought Pascal to win the title, and in his first defence he went to US to fight Taylor. I'l guess Froch thinks his attievements are so much better than Bute's.

Face it - Bute's best wins are vs. Magee and Bute's own sparringpartner.

    So Froch never ducked anyone?

When Bute fought Bika in the IBF eliminator, Bute was listed as first contender, Froch as second and Bika as third. Froch didn't take the fight with Bute to become the IBF mandatory, but instead waited another full year to get a title shot. What is that if not ducking?

I asked this question a few times to a few people, but for some reason never got an answer...

What does the fact that Bute sparred Johnson have to do with anything? Is it supposed to make the win any worse?

And Magee being Bute's best win... wow, that's a whole new level of crap.

    Bika, Andrade, Miranda, Berrio:
Andrade: top 5 at the time they fought (twice)
Bika: top 5 at the time they fought
Miranda: top 10 at the time they fought
Berrio: top 10 at the time they fought.

Magee isn't even close to be the best win for Bute. And I'm not even saying Bute has a good resume. I just hate when people like you say stupid **** like that.

Earn the right to talk too much? The guy had a homecooked decision against Dirrell, was on the verge of losing the fight against Taylor before the KO and got beat by Kessler. Let's say the real thing: he is in the Super 6 final by default. He should thank the other fighters for their injuries.

Before Berrio, Bute was considered ‘a good boxer’ where as up & comer Froch was a hard hitter.

In August 2007, Bute & Froch were considered a level above Inkin. The competition was, according to ESB:
Calzaghe, Kessler, Mundine, Lacy, Miranda, Green, Bute, Froch

Bute vs Berrio sells 7000 tickets in one day.

After Bute TKO11 Berrio, the consensus on ESB was that he was 1 to 2 years too green to face guys like Calzaghe or Kessler.

In February 2008, Berrio was still considered a dangerous and hard puncher, on the same level as Froch. The fact Bute took Berrio’s punches well had ESB consider his chin decent. Because Berrio one punched Stieglitz to the canvas and considering Andrade had to grind Stieglitz down a lot for the stoppage, Berrio’s power was at least above average at SMW (and Bute’s eyes were bruised after the fight too).

Fightnews also reported that Interbox, when asked if Taylor vs Bute was a possibility considering JT was moving up after losing to Pavlik, said “That’s definitely something we would not refuse. It would allow us to make a grand entrance on the American scene.”
    …
    1. NOT RATED
    2. Vitaly Tsypko - Injured
    3. Jurgen Brahmer - In line for WBO eliminator or vacant title
    4. Robert Stieglitz - IBF Eliminator against Andrade
    5. Librado Andrade - IBF Eliminator against Stieglitz
    6. Jean Pascal - Not interested... fighting Miranda next
    7. Edison Miranda - Fighting Pascal
    8. Mikkel Kessler - Wasn't ranked at the time the opponent was chosen and too dangerous for first defense ever.
    9. Alejandro Berrio - Just got KOed by Bute
    10. Sakio Bika - Lost to Bute in IBF eliminator
    11. Jeff Lacy - Said no or was busy
    12. Allan Green - Said no (declined the fight for 2-3 times the R. Williams purse)
    13. Crisitian Sanavia - Unavailable
    14. Danillo Haussler - Unavailable
    15. Karoly Balzsay - Wasn't ranked

Bute-Joppy sells 15K+, without ESPN’s help who chose Green-Miller instead of Bute-Green where Green was getting 2-3 times the purse he got vs Rubin Williams. After Bute TKO10 Joppy, Taylor, Lacy and Andrade were considered natural progression as next opponent for Bute by ESB posters, with the goal of fighting Kessler sometime in 2009.

At that point, still according to ESB threads/polls, Joe C was an A+/A fighter, Kessler an A/A- fighter and Bute a B give or take (+/-).

Bute fought Andrade who had won the eliminator vs Stieglitz, and the rest is history...

I'd say Berrio, Bika, Andrade II and Johnson are Bute's best wins, could almost say the way he hurt Miranda & Zuniga is worth mentioning as well.
