Sorry if this has been mentioned already, but did anyone notice the lack of any guidance Bute seemed to be getting from his corner between rounds. They didn't seem to be offering him any direction, motivation, tatical advice - unless I missed it they didn't even appear to be talking to him. They were probably in shock at whatthey were seeing but even so, it's their job to try and come up with something to help their fighter improve his situation ,as unlikely as that might have been. very strange
Bute's corner sucked at giving him some tips in this fight. A guy who was in the arena said that coming out of round 4 Larouche asked Bute if he wants to go on, and Bute said yes. The answer who came from his trainer was "I hope you know you're getting Knocked Out".
The corner was terrible. It amazes me Bute made it this far with them. Larouche has nothing to over him at all, as the OP said they werent even talking to him. In the post fight interview Larouche didnt even seem to care that they lost it was basically "Froch is a nice guy so it's ok for us to have lost to him" Absolute joke.
You don't put a men down in this kind of situation, you encourage him to find sources to go on and find the energy and mental strength to overturn the course of the fight. Larouche did it in the first Andrade fight. Bute while staying on his stool was asked: You want to remain a World Champion?! only 3 minutes left. Now what he said was the opposite.
