National Arena in Bucharest being considered (55,000+). That would be an impressive display of support from the Romanian fans. Will absolutely make Bute give his best.
Its a massive risk but its a good way of getting him straight back into contention if he wins or at the very least makes it competitive.
The rematch can happen but I believe it will be in Montreal and this after a fight in between. Great job on the contract it seems that Bute's promoter didn't put an Immediately-Rematch Clause. But just a Rematch Clause, so he can take it whenever he wishes. The articles we see in Romania are wishful thinking of the Promoter who worked with Interbox for the Mendy fight, Rudel Obreja. I'm 90% sure that if the rematch is going to take place it will be in Canada.
Nothing but Bute literally killing Froch in the rematch will erase the brutalization that happened this past Saturday.
If Bute is more active, more mobile, more crafty and uses his right hand a lot more (all things he is capable of doing), I can see a different outcome. Basically Bute cannot allow Froch to take him out of his rhythm, which Froch did very well. Still I think Froch will come in with all the mental edge in the world and would likely take a lucrative rematch, be it in Montreal or Bucharest. Bute will need to go back to the drawing board, and likely win a few easy matches, if he's actually considering lacing it up with Carl again.
Im not sure about this, because the statement I heard from them yesterday is that they were going to take plenty of time off to rest, and recover. . . ANd that his comeback would be "carefully planned." They did say they believed this loss isn't as devastating as it may "initially seem", and Bute can come back stronger than ever as other boxers have done. . . So I doubt they're already planning his comeback, much less a rematch with Froch. . . I'm not sure the details of the clause; whether it has to be Buté's next fight, or as long as it's in "x amount of time", etc.
