    Strange I know.

Looks to be a contractual thing.

Being more mobile wont help him much, he needs to use his ****ing jab and stop trying to imitate Joe Calzaghe

You were made to look like an absolute fool on Saturday Night, not because your hero lost, but because of the crap you have been continually spouting about him since you joined the forum.
You have had a chance to save face and redeem yourself, but no,you have chosen to begin a crescendo of Bute nut hugging and delusional comments.
Have you ever watched a fight or commented on this forum without it involving Lucian ? :patsch

Bute would beat Froch in a re-match.

Power, speed and heart will be Bute's match winners.

I'm Romanian and I'd advise Bute to steer clear of Froch. And, for now, of Kessler and Direll too. I don't think he can handle any of the the aforementioned fighters, especially not after just suffering a devastating KO loss. I really thought he was going to beat Froch handedly, but he had a problem, not only with the pressure, but also with the distance. Can't see him ever beating Froch, if Froch fights backing up like that. I had some lingering doubts on Bute. Warning signs date back to the Brinkley fight. He won that fight, but he got tagged quite a bit.
Anyway, he should take an easy fight for now and perhaps moving up might be beneficial, as he looked way too weak at 168.

I'd choose Wlad Klitschko and get rid of the Froch problem... :rasta

not only is froch the physically and mentally stronger fighter, he's also the better gifted and experienced fighter, skill wise. Bute was the proverbial fish out of water from every single perspective you can imagine within the squared circle to be frank, and he would get stopped in romania if the fight went ahead.

The fight would probably last a little longer because bute would elect to strictly box, but froch would overwhelm him once again. froch is certainly bute's kryptonite. if they fought again, it would be similar to antonio margarito getting in there with kermit cintron for the second time, with everyone knowing the outcome before the first bell and the fight playing out as everyone thought it would, a complete dismantling.

I can see similarities between Bute and Jeff Lacy at this point in Bute's career. He will struggle from now on against any elite opponent.

Well, not THAT strange. Ibox accepted to risk their cashcow in the lion's den, while being the champion, having the larger arena, larger fan base, and being able to do more money. All of this only for Bute to lose the "home fighter" tag.

I find it pretty normal that they covered their ass..

Just look at Don King trying to get 3 options on Pascal if Cloud loses, that, without bringing as much to the table (only the belt, no fanbase, no other $ possibilities, no reputation) than Bute against Froch.
