Bute to be honest deserves the ranking, but I wouldn't mind if he avoided Froch, it's best for his career.

I think we will see a masterclass of boxing in rematch from Bute , not hyping this fight but we will see nice jabs , counters , lateral movements etc from Bute. :yep I'm sure about that.

Bute's biggest problem in the rematch will be his punch resistance. Bute ain't the type to get Ko'ed by a single punch, he actually has a good recovery speed but he also get's hurt way to easily by good punchers who put a great amounts of pressure and repeated blows on their opponents. So that will be his Achilles tendon. He cold try to move more to sting with his jab, constant head movement and snap that powerful body punch when Froch get's to cocky to keep him away. It's not like Froch ain't seen and ain't respecting his power. It's just that he needs to use it smartly.

I hope his poor punch resistance has to do with the fact that he had lost weight for no reason other than this reaction to antibiotics for the food-poisoning in the Andrade fight and the fact that he lost the night before the Froch fight trying to make weight, meaning he could've been a little drained.

Kessler and Ward are by far the best in the division. Froch is #3. Bute is way, way behind these guys - he needs to proove it against the best.

I would really, really love a rematch between Kessler and Ward. A shame it hasn't been made yet.

Would be a good fight and one of the more exciting along with Chad vs Ward.

Bute is gonna make the rematch look like the second Duran/Leonard fight. He is already working on the Sugar-style 'fro.

Glad to see so many ol' timers feeling proud and happy that Bute is exercising his rematch clause and giving the fans what they want and what they deserve.

Professional boxing, once you've made your millions, is about staying healthy, long term.

But it is also about daring to be great.

And if you've tried, and fallen short, at least you can still be great for boxing by getting up again, dusting yourself off, and putting it all on the line again, facing your biggest demons in the ring.

Is this not what boxing fans are supposed to want? It's definitely what Bute fans deserve, and Bute is delivering.

...so many fake boxing fans here... makes me sick. :-(

I have to say Flashy, you almost impressed me in the aftermath of Bute shaming the nation(s) with your candour and willingness to accept the truth.
So I don't hold it against you now that the rematch is on and you're becoming slightly delusional again.I don't blame any Bute fans for being loyal to their man.
But unlike some others,I think you've learned enough to know that deep down, your boy doesn't have a chance.:yep
You see Flash.I don't hold grudges, especially when I see that you're not as daft as some of your old posts suggest.:thumbsup
And I know what your real prediction for the fight is.:yep

Do you think Bute will try to KO Froch in the rematch? Or just to win on points? If he can of course, I am not sure he can after that beating.

Actually he is I watched his fights, but Froch is hard to be knocked. Strong chin and he is protecting his liver. Bute must destabilize him.

How is Bute mentally after this loss? Did somebody spend time with him?

To be fair he won enough rounds for me and was lying back on the ropes at times and taking the **** out of stielglitz, I honestly dont believe he was really trying at times
