He almost beat Tsypko, with a shoulder injury. Tsypko, I'd pick over Bute and rate on the same level.
The Tsypko fight was over a year ago though and he looked worse against Manfredo. Terrible footspeed, handspeed, and no snap on his punches. He couldn't pull the trigger or throw a left hook. I think Lacy is physically and mentally shot. I'd take quite a few to beat him.
How about this one Brooklyn, Bika used pressure and body work to win the first 3 rounds off of Bute, was in total control. Now, granted that Andrade is better at pressure and bodywork, has a higher workrate and just doesn't stop coming forward, what's Bute going to do? Bute's power is just average. He can't beat Andrade, he'll get brutally worn down and stopped. Now, Lacy is somewhat of an if, but if he can get any resemblence of his old form back, Bute is in for a long night and will be destroyed. The fact that it took him 10 rounds to stop Joppy says it all.
My friend, I'm not even on here that much anymore. Yesterday for example, I dropped by for 30 minutes in the afternoon and then dropped by to smash your little ridiculous Bute train last night after the Litzau fight. The rest of the time I was out partying and thinking about how much I hate Bute while downing a few Olde English malt's.:good
I'd take them both over Pavlik also, that just shows the level that these overrated jokers are operating on. I don't see how Jermain Taylor could win a round vs. Calzaghe, yet we have some remnants saying he'd give him a tough fight. Even **** ****er Bute beats Taylor and Pavlik.
Not very well, did you see how Gevor was outboxing him? He'll retain his punch, but he still has issue's, very bad that Miranda was so effective against him(competitive even before the broken jaw). Froch and the lot of B fighters up at SMW are better than Miranda and can match his power. Then of course he'd have immense issue's with B level boxers, for example, let's say he doesn't catch Veit with the right shot? I think he'd catch him, but he'd be behind on the cards and this is Mario Veit I'm talking about. Not an Anthony Mundine and certainly not a Mikkel Kessler.
