It's in french. Interbox has been talking recently of organizing themselves the fight against the super 6 winner, in USA. They gave more details to a newspaper today. They want to do it at the MSG in April, in the theater configuration (6000 people). Interbox says they won't wait anymore for an offer to fight outside: it is not coming, so they will do it themselves. They count on the New York Romanian community and some of the Quebec fanbase to fill the place. They could do it in association with Top Rank, both organizations have made deals recently to help their boxers to fight on the other team's cards. Bédard and Arum will meet at MSG this weekend at the Margarito-Cotto rematch and Bédard intends to talk about that. They are also open to put Bute-super 6 winner on the same card than another big fight and then take the full MSG (20 000 people).

I guess all of those who wants Bute to travel should be happy now. I guess all of those saying he doesn't want to travel won't be able to do it soon. :D

He'll travel, but I'm curious what B level contender he'll choose to face.

    Good.
Just needs a decent opponent then that's that argument put to bed.

You obviously didn't even take the time to read. The super 6 winner is targeted.
Is that a B level fighter for you?

I'd be interrested to make the trip to New-York from Montreal to see Bute fight.

I would do it too. New York is a great place to be on vacation. :D
I think Interbox plays it nicely with the 6 000 seats configuration. Some people would go but not that much. They want to start small for their first promotion outside of Canada.

Where is Thomas Hearn's son at? Tell him to hire some body guards or to stay close to dad. That Manfredo kid is coming off a loss. For the right money he should be willing to fight for a couple more rounds.

Who do you think in the SMW division would sell out MSG?:think
I think they'd all struggle right now.

Nobody. That's why they'll do it in the theater configuration. To be in the 20 000 seats configuration, they would need some big names from another division.

It's easier to say you want to fight the S6 winner before the final has even occurred than it is to actually negotiate a fight. I'm guessing fear and greed makes the chance of this fight happening zero. Bute should have to prove himself against Pascal before he gets a title shot anyway.

Why Pascal in this conversation ????

Pascal is at 175 now and Bute said many time that he will stay at 168 until he clean the divsion.

After he will move up to fight at 175 (Pascal) but it will be impossible for him to move down after because he is alrady a big 168.

Three good fighters who would go a long way towards silencing doubters if Bute fought them and put them in his W list.
    Will it happen though?
    I fear not

What are you talking about ? Why shoud a 168 belt holder should fight a guy at 175 before he can get a chance at the S6 winner ?
