Bute's trainer: "Bute wants Kessler"

    Quick summary. I have to go run...

    Nothing about a potential fight with Taylor.

    He said a fight with Froch is possible but he doesn't think it could be made soon because he doubts the US tv network would be interested in the fight since no one knows who Carl Froch is in the USA. He said the fight could be made if Froch beats Taylor.

    He then said the fight Bute wants is Kessler and they have been discussing with Palle.

    He also said Bute's next fight will be in March.

    Fighters who have expressed interest in fighting Kessler;

    Bute, Froch, Wright, Dawson. All of these guys would be available in March. If Kessler wants a big fight, it's there for the taking.

    As you probably know, Larsen fights at the under card to Valuev-Holyfield December 20Th. But no mention of a upcoming Bute-fight, which i would love to watch and in which Larsen at his best could gain some real recognition.

    You could make a list like that for any top fighter in the world. It's not always that simple.

    If Winky Wright was such an easy guy to make a fight with, for example, surely he would have had at least one in the past fourteen months?

    Bute v Kessler is tasty, hope it can get done.

    Let's hope. Kessler-Bute has the potential to be an excellent fight, although I'd still favor Kessler.

    I concur here Kessler cannot give any more excuses for choosing bums over decent opponents it is time he put up.

    Wright's people have already been in contact with team Kessler. Wright also has an HBO date set aside for March. Regardless, he is one of several names willing and able to fight Kessler in March. Kessler can be a part if a big fight if he wants.

    Well, Teampalle wants a March 14th fight in the US against a US based fighter, so the worst case scenario is Kessler beating an American bum...:D

    i havent seen much in danish papers about anything solid for kessler.

    but kessler - bute is a good fight for both guys if they want to crack the US.

    i wouldnt take team palle on their word post calzaghe.

    its his promoter dicking him around but he's got a say in it and he needs to spell it out without any screwing around now.

    Bute is not a US based fighter, but who cares? The fight could be aired in the US at prime time.

    I hope Palle doesn't believe that Kessler would become a superstar if he beats a bum in the US.
