A lot of people are underestimating Bute because of the end of his fight against Andrade. That can be an advantage as everyone thinks he's the easiest champion of the division.
That's because they only watched the final 30 seconds on Youtube and didn't bother seeing the rest of the fight, in which Bute basically picked Andrade apart, showing boxing skills on par with the rest of the top of the SMW division in Taylor and Kessler.
Mate, I agree Kessler is fighting bums, but why are you hyping Wright for this? He is old and pretty much shot, didn't you see his fight with Hops at 170? A 1.5 year layoff won't make him look any better at 168.
Good. It's a division that could be quite easily unified and provide some good fights in the process, with the likes of Taylor and Pascal getting involved too. The one who may throw a spanner in it all is Inkin who could sit on his belt and fight endless mandatories. As for Kessler - Bute, I'd have to go with Kessler by decision or late stoppage. He does near enough everything better than Bute, in my opinion and has the stamina to take him out down the stretch.
Find me a fighter that looked good against Hopkins. Taylor and Calzaghe both didn't look all that good even though they beat Hopkins. Jones didn't look all that good either. Hopkins makes everyone look bad. Even in his current stage, Winky is better than just about everyone Kessler has fought. He's left handed, he's crafty, and he's good defensively. Most importantly, he's a known commodity in the States. That's a great fight for Kessler to prove himself and build his name in the States.
Taylor is more deserving of a shot than Bute. Although I'm not completely against it. It should be an interesting fight. Of course Kessler takes it.
Don't bother respond to Axe. He is a Kessler hater. And a Adamek lover. You are wasting your time even looking at the dribble he writes.
I havent heard anything about a March date for Winky on HBO, but since Kessler is rumoured to fight in the US in March people have been speculating that it may be Berrio. Berrio is a fighter that people want to avoid because of his one-punch power. He has a very high KO % and has stopped several carreers in their tracks. He is not someone you would want to fight unless you had to. However, your post sounds like perhaps it could be Kessler-Winky we are looking at instead? Interesting.
